I made fresh fig and orange muffins today and as always, got a plate ready to lessen the mess when I grated the orange skin.. Much to my surprise there was virtually no mess and it took seconds to pass the grater over the orange skin. Every kitchen should have a Microplane

This thing is grate! Watch your fingers though it's mighty sharp. Finely shred that pecorino for Cacio e Pepe, achieve 'grater' level of allicin from your garlic. Microplane has no competitors, to my knowledge.

Excellent for zesting lemons 🍋

Very glad I bought this Microplane Premium Classic Zester from Knifewear. This replaced another, lower-quality zester I was using and the difference is quite noticeable. This one is very ergonomic, produces really crisp and uniform zest, and is surprisingly easy to clean. I bought the yellow one (because lemons) and it looks great in my kitchen.

I bought one of these last week as my old Tesco one had become very hard work to use as I have Rheumatoid disease which affects my hands. It was starting to really hurt and as I love to bake I thought it was time for a new one. Im so glad I picked this one, I cant believe how easy and painless it is to zest with it I made chocolate orange loaf cakes this morning and zesting the oranges was a dream Its super sharp and the zest just comes away so quickly and with zero effort, and it leaves all the white pith behind. I also love the guard that it comes with so no one cuts themselves when its in the drawer. And I was able to choose a red one to match my kitchen. Fantastic value and one very happy customer indeed.

Why didn’t I buy this sooner?

This thing is the bomb! Got in on recommendation from Nagi of recipe tin eats. Zesting was something I despised previously because I was using cheap rubbishy tools. This microplane makes it so easy. The zest is light and isn’t chunky. Can’t wait to try it with chocolate and Parmesan.

Works a treat.

Easy to use fast and efficient zester on citrus fruits. Comfortable to hold and easy to clean. Also works well as a fine grater for hard cheese. Wish I had acquired one sooner!I will probably buy other items in the range despite the expense as I find it more comfortable to use.

Zester Grater

This grater works very easily and thoroughly. We typically use it for Parmesan, but I'm sure it will work for many other foods. The blades are quite sharp and strong, resulting in a lot of material being grated in a short time. Also like that it comes with a sheath to protect it when not in use.

You want an excellent zester or small grater then this is definitely for you.I have found it invaluable in my kitchen for all manner of shredding.It's robust and doesn't bend while using it ,Also handles extremely well and the easy grip handle keeps your fingers well away from the sharp blades.Takes up little space in the drawer .Washes quickly.Definitely worth the purchase.I just love it.
