We bought this dishwasher because we had Miele dishwashers in the past but there was a another brand dishwasher already here when we bought the house. We persisted for a year but we really missed the cutlery tray on the Miele. We are so delighted with this purchase. The dishes are sparkling clean, the automatic door opening means that even the plasticware is dry! It is so quiet even guests didn't know when it was running! Very happy.

It broke down 2 weeks after use. The call centre staff could not help to resolve the issue. I had to switch the machine off at the power and I left it off for 1 week. I then switched it back on and held the power button down for five seconds. This miraculously fixed the problem. Very disappointing for such an expensive product.

Having had a Miele in the distant past, and two Bosch dishwashers in between, I am very happy with the choice of this dishwasher. Excellent washing results and it fits in a tight space. The eco credentials were also important to us, and the bonus is that the energy and water efficiency saves money. The door opening at the end of the wash cycle is an excellent feature - no more hand drying plasticware! Finally, we had a tradesman friend match the kick plate to our existing kitchen for a seamless look.

After a disastrous Dishwasher for 7 years the Miele is an absolute gem. Washes so so well. The lay out and functionality is terrific. We seem to fit so much more in than our previous dishwasher that had similar layout.
This is an excellent machine, supper quite, easy loading and unloading, things come out clean and dry. I deducted 1 star as I am having an issue with the on switch, it’s rare for it to work on the first press, it takes 2 to 3 attempts to work. I have tried different techniques whilst pressing the button but nothing is evident of where it will work. Looks like a call-out as it’s faulty and I suspect that it’s the main board alignment with the button location. This is my 3rd Miele dishwasher in over 40 years and I am sure that this issue is not normal for the brand. I would still recommend this machine.
This is our 5th Miele dishwasher. We replaced our relatively new dishwasher (other brand) with this Miele model as we missed its quality.absolutely no regrets and it’s SO quiet. It’s slightly more lightweight than our previous models but I think that’s reflected in the price. Does a great wash!
This was a replacement for my last Miele dishwasher that I had for 14.5 years without missing a beat. While the configuration of the lower drawer has been changed the new dishwasher is as easy to use, even quieter and cleans everything beautifully. Highly recommended. I paid for installation and the person that installed it (unfortunately I don't remember his name) was fabulous. Did a wonderful job, was a lovely man and took away my old like for like dishwasher and all the packaging from the new one. He is a credit to Appliances Online.
I installed the under-bench model 2 weeks ago. After making the purchase we realised that a freestanding model would have fit to. And upon reading reviews that it was noisy, I went to the effort of lining the cavity with sound absorbing panelling. So I’m not sure if it’s the machine or the extra effort I went to but we are very happy with the noise level. The big thing for me is it’s speed and efficiency, a 46min cycle cleans all things perfectly. Glass, plastic, metalware. The cutlery draw is a little more work as a cutlery basket that you can put on the bench, but we appreciate the extra space it allows. One thing, was working out if we needed yo use salt, our water in Brisbane is hard, but after much research we found our detergent cubes with the ball are fine ... When on, the machine is pretty quiet, the only noticeable noise is the sound of the water draining away down the sink. When choosing this machine it had to be fairly heavy duty as we are a family of 4 with a couple of heavy handed members! I needed to be sure whatever we bought would be durable and not feel ... We replaced a 5 year old broken dishwasher with this Miele model and we couldn't be happier. The basket and tray design is great which means we can fit more and things wash better as they are better arranged and secured. Most plastics actually come out dry! The quick wash is less than 60 minutes and cleans and dry's very well. We have mostly been using the auto mode which works perfectly. So happy we made the switch, we hope to get many years from this unit.
