We've used this for a few weeks now and it is by far the best vacuum cleaner we've ever had, way better than the Dyson barrel we had that we were pretty happy with all the same. The vacuum is very strong with adjustable strength, but is remarkably quiet for the power. We were amazed how much it pulled out of the carpet which looked cleaner and smelled fresher than it ever has.. definitely recommend and is well worth the price.

Have had a Miele vacuum cleaner before and this one isn't as good as my last one. There are 3 small pieces that attach to the end of the hose for upholstery, tight corners and a brush piece for cobwebs and dust. The design hasn't allowed a place for this to be kept on the main barrel of the vacuum, that's annoying. And there is only one main attachment for floors. My old Miele used to have a special attachment for carpets and a different one for wooden or tiled floors. Just a bit disappointing in terms of design and functionality.

I bought this 2 months ago. It is fantastic. The vacuum is so powerful, I only use the lowest setting and it is like a breeze. It takes half the effort and half the time and the job is done. It is a lot less noise than I expected. A good machine! The only down side is that it is heavy. Lucky it is easy to move around with wheels.

Really happy with my purchase after lots of research. This vacuum cleaner seems great for big house holds, love the longer than average lead and the different attachments and settings. Little bit heavy to carry up stairs but not too bad.
Did a lot of research prior to purchase. Previously had 2 x Electrolux vacuums. Both poor quality. Miele has a much more comfortable handle position, longer hose, better tools for cleaning sofas and hard to reach places. Easy clip on and off fittings. Very happy.
I bought this vacuum for my unit, which has a mix of tiles and carpet. My youngest daughter has issues with loud sounds too, so I did a lot of research. This vacuum is amazingly quiet, it can get to every corner of my home with the long on-board lead and it's INTENSELY powerful. I've not needed to go past 1/4 power, even when getting glitter out of the carpets. I can't rate this vacuum highly enough. I've owned 2 Vax vacuums and 3 different Dysons over the years. This Miele makes everything else look like toys. I would never buy another brand again, not I think I'll ever need to replace this one, as it's sturdy, easy to clean, easy to maneuver and store and feels as though it will last the marathon. Super happy I made this choice and it's worth every cent.
It is compact, light and easy to manoeuvre, and while the suction is not great, on it's third use it does the job we need doing. And, my new carpet will last a lot longer than my previous carpet which had all the goodness sucked out of it by using a Dyson. The plastic components are a shame, as they cheapen the quality of the product. Purchased online after researching and considering comments from others. Next time would probably go in store and check out quality and sturdiness of product.
First time Miele user and delighted with the efficiency and quietness of the vacuum cleaner. Being bagless is great - no more purchases of extras. Easy to clean. Only negative is it’s quite heavy to lift!.
I have owned many Miele products and always been thrilled with them. I replaced my older version of Miele vacuum cleaner approx 9 months ago with this new latest modern and once again the cord retraction has broken. It is impossible to contact Miele Service Dept. Never again!
I bought this as a present for my daughter who has found that her carpet is very clean after using the Miele. The adjustable handle makes it easy on her back. The lack of a bag makes it much more convenient. I have always had a Miele and they last and last.
