This is our second Miele Triflex Pro. We loved the first one so much we’ve bought this second one for our shack.It’s a brilliant design - quality materials, easy to use and clean, glides over hard floors and tiles - also works well on carpet. It’s also easy to empty and clean. I love the floor light - highlighting all dust. I also like the way it turns on and stays on - I don’t have to manually hold the switch down for it to work. I worried it would be heavy to push but it’s so well balanced I find it easy. It comes with two batteries so I always have one fully charged and ready to go. Miele is also an ethical brand which is so important to us - it has an A rating on ethical.org.au.

I have had many Miele vacuums over the years, all corded. With several sets of stairs to clean, it was cumbersome. I chose this battery powered stick vacuum to alleviate that.There are cheaper options out there, and some at this same price point, but I chose the Miele due to my experience with the brand.It works great! The simple attachments are all that are needed for most any application. This could replace most traditional vacuums.I also got the additional battery, and I would highly suggest it. Using this product for whole house cleaning will deplete the single battery before the chore is done.

A little disappointed. Heavier than I thought, even with the barrel at the bottom and not easy to switch around the order of the components, takes quite a bit of strength. The suction is good, especially on high, but then the battery doesn’t last long, so definitely have to plan what you’re doing so you don’t run out mid job. Emptying the barrel a little bit of a fiddle and you have to be very mindful that you keep it well over the bin as a little bump or putting down a part will leave dust on the floor that you have just vacuumed. Hopefully you can suck it back up and your battery isn’t flat! Doesn’t suck up larger pieces on the floor well. Have to clean out the head regularly as things get twisted around it. This is a relatively heavy duty stick vacuum cleaner, ie compared to my existing older stick vacuum cleaner.It’s heavier with a larger floor head and cleans a lot better, even using the first gear of power. These advantages also mean it can’t get under low table and hard to lift and move around.Like the “power on” button, not holding my finger on all the time to operate. Having two batteries is a great idea.As for the dust canister, it is small for its suction power, thus needs to be emptied and cleaned after each room. I would have liked to have two dust canisters, just like the batteries. Ideally, the fine dust filter can be purchased separately from the Miele shop.All in all, I am very happy with this stick vacuum cleaner.

The Miele line of vacuum cleaners are great. I purchased the stick cleaner and a canister cleaner around the same time. . I use the stick cleaner in my finished basement. It’s light to carry and does a great job vacuuming . It has various speeds also.The canister vacuum is easy to roll behind you and has various speeds also. They both are easy to dump the dirt out of their containers. They roll or slide easy on hardwood and tile floors. They maneuver over my throw rugs also. I have a central vac system that I use upstairs and purchased the canister one as a backup in case my others need repairs. I have asthma/allergies so I need vacuums that have a hepa filter in them and both the Miele vacuums do.
We bought this over the comparable Dyson as we were looking for something sturdier than Dyson. Well these do feel sturdier to use initially however they are a nightmare to use. The brush roll continuously gets tangled with hair and debris. You need to actually remove the brush roll each time and cut away the debris from the roll. The dust bin is so small…Unless you’re a handy person of sorts you’ll find this dust bin very annoying to remove, clean and refit each and every time you use it. Ours is about 6 months old and has now been replaced by the new Dyson V15. Not a single blocked brushroll since day one and so easy to empty and clean. I really wanted Miele to be better than Dyson.
Vacuum moves easily over wood floors, carpeting, and area rugs, and the suction is excellent on all three. When configured with the motor in the low position, it is light weight and ergonomically comfortable. Two big advantages over the competition is 1) it stands up on its own, and 2) comes with TWO batteries. The dirt receptacle is small but I can vacuum the majority of my house before needing to empty it. If you have pets, that may not be the case. I like the very sleek design. You can keep both batteries charging when not in use. The LED light is valuable and effective but could stand to be a little stronger. It is new to the family so I haven't used all its features yet but so far, so good!

Have been using this for a year now. I love that it scoops up lots of dust even when you think your floor looks clean. Setting 1 does not do much suction, so I always use Setting 3, only downside when using highest setting is you need to vacuum the whole house in less than 20mins then the battery is drained. I have hooked the battery in power everyday since buying it and so far, that battery performance is still consistent (i.e. 17-18 mins on highest setting). You also need to make sure that any tangles hair/fiber be removed within the brush else you won't get any suction at all.It is very good for homeowners who owns pets that sheds too much fur. It sucks sand and cobwebs as well.
