With the current Coronavirus quarantine that is effecting most people my kids and I have gotten into watching marble racing on youtube. We started getting excited about the idea of maybe starting our own little league but when we went out attempting to find a good starter set none of the sets shown really give good descriptions as to what to expect and this one was no different so let me be the first to give it a review.First, the marbles. It doesn't clearly state how many marbles you get, if any. The answer is 16, 2 each of 8 different colors (red, white, black, blue, green, orange, purple, yellow). They are not the traditional glass marbles but they are a hard plastic so they will not break or deform from normal use. These marbles can be replaced with small ... It doesn't clearly state how many marbles you get, if any. The answer is 16, 2 each of 8 different colors (red, white, black, blue, green, orange, purple, yellow). They are not the traditional glass marbles but they are a hard plastic so they will not break or deform from normal use. These marbles can be replaced with small glass marbles if that is your decision. Small marbles will still run down the track just fine.Next, the instructions. The product is made it Italy and they have attempted to keep the instructions as simple as can be. There are no words just basic illustrations similar to LEGO instructions but maybe not as clear to translate. They do provide 2 different models to build and each uses most of the pieces and are go a decent run. If I was to even consider taking anything negative away from the review it would have been in the instructions, but like stated, it is an international company attempting to keep is as simple as can be.Now for the actual set.I would recommend that you lay ALL the parts out and determine how they work together. There are clear pieces that actually work with the bridges so that they can connect with the rest of the pieces (I overlooked these at first and was having a hard time trying to figure out how the bridges connect to the other pieces-this goes back to the instructions showing clear pieces as white). Also there are several gray pieces that if you didn't notice them at first you might try to attach the bases to the towers and be fighting with them (they will fit but it is tight. These grey pieces actually go onto the bases so that you can attach the towers, go figure, look at all the pieces first. The set does come with a actual start block that holds 8 marbles. If you use most of the pieces to build your track there is enough mix points to that it does not matter the starting position of each marble. The pieces do connect easily, if you are putting them together right, and they stay together pretty good once they are together. I built our first track on a carpeted floor and it works pretty good but I might recommend a wooden floor. You could use a table but when fully constructed the track can be about 3 feet tall and for a small child it could be difficult to play with.If you are looking for a starter marble racing set, this is the one for you and well worth the cost. It does encourage though processes and development skills as well as provide for hours of entertainment.

The quality should have been more solid. Its very clumpsy type
it took 3 adults to figure out how to put it together.
