My partner and I both have these mugs - mine in Prismatic and his in Basal. The colors are nice and look just as advertised. We use our mugs for everything from hot tea in the frigid alpine to ice cream on the couch. Liquids stay hot for just as long - if not longer - than similar competitors. The lid is especially nice for preventing spills and keeping things a little extra insulated around camp. Not to mention, this is an ideal vessel for ice cream. When compared to a regular ceramic mug/bowl, ice cream stays solid for 5x longer without ever making your hands cold. You can pack this mug to the brim with your favorite mint chocolate chip and enjoy every bite without having to rush. Overall, great product - would definitely recommend to a friend.

Gifts for the two who have everything??? I chose this camp cup in each of their favorite colors, with their respective names. WINNER!! Both loved them! I felt really good about how nice the camp cup looks engraved! Now I’ll get one for myself!! Oh, my friend who likes everything blue AND everything sparkly — her cup was REALLY beautiful!! Well done, MIIR!

Purchased two for a long-term military exercise. The first of the two held up well, that is until (without damage or dropping) it started rattling in the space of the vacuum which ultimately didn't hold heat after a week of receiving it. I threw it away. $$ in the trash. The second has held true mostly. It holds heat well, however the lid is completely subpar. The silicone seal twists/folds when putting it on and the cracks/creases mold with overnight use. It's a good mug overall, but I'd stick to a far less expensive brand vice this. To be honest, you're far better off with a classic ceramic/glass mug vice this. It's both worth and not worth the price. Don't get me wrong, I love my one of two fun, and get praise for how cool it looks. But is looking cool really ... MorePurchased two for a long-term military exercise. Like most, I appreciate a good mug, but I'm selective in those I keep. This mug takes the cake for my favorite mug of all time. It's the perfect size and shape, the matte design and feel is fantastic, and it's incredibly well made: you can throw it against a wall and it's scratch, if not dent, the wall before the cup gets a scratch. Furthermore, it's lightweight, making it great to backpack with (brought it along for a few 5-day excursions) as well as a welcome mug for a hot drink in the middle of a snow hike. I've used Yeti mugs before as well as a few other brands, and though they're good, it's the subtle differences that makes this mug just fantastic. I own two of them and pretty much use them exclusively, and as of this past Christmas, my family all enjoys them ... MoreLike most, I appreciate a good mug, but I'm selective in those I keep. Overall, these are good mugs. Durable, decent heat retention, and good looking. I’m not super into stainless steel when it comes to coffee mugs, but it’s a good mug. I bought mine at a coffee shop while on vacation and have used it only occasionally. Sadly, the seam where the bottom of the handle meets the mug seems (no pun intended) to be faulty, and thus water has made its way between the inside walls of the mug. The crack or hole in the seam isn’t big enough for the water to escape, though, save for a few drops when the mug is shaken. This technically doesn’t hinder the performance of the mug, but now there’s water constantly sloshing in between the walls and that’s not only irritating, but kind of gross. What was an otherwise solid mug is now basically useless ... MoreOverall, these are good mugs. Durable, decent heat retention, and good looking. Spectacled painted Camp Cups, one in each color, set for the camp adventures of 2022 and beyond. Double insulted so no more burnt fingers with that first cup of morning Joe. Quality built, sippy top and a comfortable handle should see these Camp Cups in use over many seasons. The best. Get you some!
I first purchased a Miir camp cup about 3 years ago, and I have had several different types of insulated mugs since then, but the Miir is always my go-to. I prefer it over even my yeti mug. I think the Miir mug seems to keep coffee hotter longer, and it is more comfortable to hold because of the handle. If you are looking for the perfect insulated coffee mug, Miir is the way to go.
I have been using the MiiR cup and flip lid traveler for my morning coffee. I have found that if I save some coffee from the day before in the bottom of the cup (about a quarter inch) that when I fill the cup with hot freshly brewed coffee it is drinkable (still quite hot) and that I can enjoy the coffee for up to an hour while I am reading the papers we get each day without the coffee getting cold like it would in a regular cup. At the same time I am filling my MiiR cup I fill the black flip lid traveler with the freshly brewed hot coffee. The flip lid traveler keeps the coffee hot throughout the morning and I can enjoy drinking hot coffee directly from the flip lidtraveler during the morning when I want to take a coffee break. I purchased half a dozen of these mugs over the last couple of years to replace all of my old ceramic mugs, and at first was infatuated. However, the coating is now peeling on every single one (some of the handles are now completely bare metal), and they all have brown stains on the insides that only come off by scraping with my finger nail (a dish brush or sponge does nothing). I've never had this happen with any other stainless steel products, and am annoyed that I wasted so much money on mugs that now look **** and have coffee stains (or rust? or both?) in them.
I tried one of these mugs and fell in love, and now have a collection of six or seven to use at home to replace ceramic mugs. (I have tile floors and was tired of breaking a mug every month or so when I dropped it.) Unfortunately after about six months or so of use, two issues inevitably have arisen for every single one. First, the coating chips off, and it’s so bad on some of the mugs that the handles are completely bare metal now. Second, there is brown discoloration on the entire inside of every mug. Not sure if it’s rust or discoloration from coffee, but either way, that should not be happening with stainless steel. I do put these in the dishwasher, so perhaps that is contributing to the peeling issue, but stainless steel should not discolor like that no matter ... MoreI tried one of these mugs and fell in love, and now have a collection of six or seven to use at home to replace ceramic mugs. (And I also have stainless steel dishes and cups from other companies that don’t have any discoloration, so that’s definitely not a dishwasher thing.) I’ll continue to use the mugs I do have but won’t be purchasing anymore.
