Gonna start with the positives -Looks great when fully set up.Alright, better strap in now, because this is gonna be one hell of a ride -Engineering and build:This has to be one of the worst designed bed frames i've ever had to build.- Most of the machined bolt holes aren't even remotely symmetrical- The spacing and allen keys provided means that for several of the components, you're lucky to get quarter turns in. For a bed frame with long bolts and a million holes, it will take an inordinate amount of time to knock up- Instructions are abysmal. There's several pieces with required orientations that you won't find out about until you put it together wrong. There's several pieces with required orientations that you won't find out about until you put it together wrong. I think i had to fully disassemble this thing twice, and partially disassemble components around 5 times- The gas lift bars are extremely tough to manage if you put them in when the instructions tell you- The frame is aluminium tubing, so practically every tube had to be manipulated with pliers to get them to slot into each other. Al tube is really weak - even a slight knock on the end through shipping will bend the edges inward- The slat spacing is too wide for pocket spring hybrid/foam mattresses. Be warned now if you want a cheap frame for a newly purchased mattress-in-a-box. I had to put a couple sheets of ply over the whole thing and drill out ventilation holes- the slats themselves are awful. They must have like half a mil tolerance, because the only way I could get them in was by cutting a slit down the side of the keepers so I could slide them in sideways. Following the instructions doesn't help here - you're supposed to put them in the keepers then pin the keepers to the frame. There isn't enough give in the slats to do this without them popping out- Fabric components are made out of really thin poly fabric that would tear against the brush of a feather- Fabric base doesn't have bolt holes, so you'll have to punch them out yourself- In addition to the above, the bolt holes to pin the fabric base were covered over by the velco that the fabric attaches to, another thing you'll have to punch out- When trying to level out the frame by extending the support legs out, the bolt extensions on the support legs dethreaded under the weight of the mattress on a couple, and I woke up in the middle of the night with another couple popping, thinking the whole frame was about to collapse- This product is that the gas lift bars aren't even remotely strong enough to hold the weight of my king mattress, so it's straight up for long-term storage of things I hope i'll never miss, because it requires a significant amount of strength just to hold it up. My wife certainly isn't going to be making use of the 'handy' storage feature this was bought for.I don't know what I was expecting with a cheap frame like this, but after a ridiculously long build time, i guess I kinda hoped it would at least function the way it was intended to.Buy at your own risk. It gets a star above minimum because it looks pretty I guess, and it didn't collapse in on itself. That's the highlight of my purchase of this product.

I bought this bed frame because I needed a good storage solution. The delivery arrived quickly, the assembly instructions were straightforward and the gaslift works wonderfully. Now I can store things under my bed systematically and see everything I want with one lift, rather than crawl underneath a normal bed. The frame is sturdy and doesn't make any sound.

We purchased 2 of these beds as an upgrade to our kids bedrooms. We are on a budget and these beds suited it perfectly.Nitpicking is that a couple of the decorative studs aren't in line and you can see one staple on the upholstery on the backboard. The material lining the bottom of the bed in the storage section is very flimsy and easy to tear. These are very minor issues and don't affect our satisfaction with the overall quality of the bed! I was petrified buying a bed online without physically seeing it, but I was not disappointed at all! They both look really good and are excellent value for money. It will take you a couple of hours to put together, I highly recommend looking at a few YouTube tutorials (it seems most gas lift beds assemble the same). The storage space is ample and it feels like a good solid bed. Delivery was very quick.Happy with purchase.

Fantastic. Lightweight packaging, fast delivery. A technically minded person can install this completely by one's-self (I did on my own). Makes no noise. This is an absolute ripper gas-lift bed.
This mattress is perfect if you want that tall, regal, luxurious feeling in a memory foam mattress.Incredibly comfy and firm when it needs to be, and molds to your body without completely sinking into the mattress.Heads up though, its super heavy for a memory foam mattress; definitely needs two people to move it.Bed frame is fantastic too.Exactly what I was looking for.
Id love to give this bed 5 stars as the sale price was great. The downside and why its only 4 stars, is quite a few loose threads around the sewn material. Instructions started strong and by the end we were deciphering hieroglyphics. My husband and brother-in-law stood scratching their heads on how to work the gaslift. Id recommend you ask your wife before 30 minutes as she will come in and youtube the answer. FYI put the slates and mattress on before pushing the bed down. Somehow the extra weight makes it work.Would buy this bed again. My sons loving their big boy beds.
I thought I received the wrong item as the boxes had a different product on the packaging. Once opened the bed was easy to put together, much better with two people. Be prepared it takes several hours! I was disappointed with the height of the headboard but still love the overall look and the colour of the fabric. My favourite things about this bed are the gas lift which is super easy to use, and the awesome storage under the bed.
Great bed and looks really pretty and great stoarge underneath. However the down sides were it was such a challenge to assemble with bad instructions so I reccommend having another person help out to save time. There was a small rip on the side of the bed on the inside frame but I guess it's ok since it's not on the outside to be seen. There were some things we had to figure out on our own and added in extra steps like sawing down one of the pieces for a better shape to slot in and punching in holes into the fabric base ourselves. The gas lift to lift up the bed requires extra strength to lift up so is a bit hard and rough on the hands. The materials seems to not be as great quality but it was good enough for the sale price I got it for and the end result overall ... MoreGreat bed and looks really pretty and great stoarge underneath. Overall the frame looks very stylish, however, the instructions are NOT clear at all and have essentially no descriptions of anything. The images in the instructions are not very clear and you will break your hand undoing and redoing the bolts to flip one of the beams or reseat things properly. If you buy this bed, be sure to check the sides of the base for the bolt holes and all of the metal parts when assembling, as I had to pull it apart and reassmble 3 different parts of it to get it right
