Not the brightest light but the best color in the business. It’s replaced my packout light which was too awkward to use. Base has good magnets and heavy enough to use as a stand. A few changes would improve its versatility. A second pivoting arm. A lower low, its low of 600 lumens is too close to the 800 medium. Adding a diffuser, although a milk carton is just as usable and cheaper than what milwaukee would charge.

Love this light, very bright and runs forever. Mounted a metal plate ,(for the lights magnetic base) to a piece of wood. Then secured a thick dowel to the other side, (that matches the "dog"/clamp holes on my 8ft work bench). Now I can move the light anywhere on the bench securely, and articulate it to direct the light exactly where I want it.Great for checking finishes and finding micro scratches in items I'm sanding etc... Phenominal light.

BUY IT! THIS LIGHT IS AWSOME

This tool is bright and vey useful when working under a car on the lift. The magnetic arm is great for bolts, nuts, screws, and sockets. Not to mention the magnetic base plate is super strong, you won’t have to ever worry about it falling off a metal surface. I own dozens of lights snap on, matco, stream light, and so on. But ever since I bought this I have been reach for this light more often than not. All and all I will recommend this light when techs, friends ask me what light to buy.

Best trouble light on the market!

Great light! Bright with couple settings. Very strong magnet. Works great under car or connect to hood/inner fenders anything thats metal. Can stay out of the way and put the light just where you need it. No cord to be in the way! Its my new go to trouble light, would buy again! Will probably buy another one may need 2 on a project. Dont let price deter you its worth every penny. Will pay for itself!

Excellent Light!! Highly Recommended for Mechanics

What an awesome light. It has plenty of brightness and lights up the underside of vehicles in even the darkest of shops. The magnets in the base are very strong and hold the light securely with no worries of it falling off whatever piece of steel you have it on. The pivoting feature on both ends allows for amazing range of movement to help get the light pointed at just the right angle or pointed into the specific location that you are trying to work on. The magnetic portion of the arm is much stronger than I was expecting it to be. Easily holds nuts, bolts, sockets and wrenches. Excellent M12 underbody light kit

I’m already enjoying the benefits of this M12 light kit and it goes well beyond underbody vehicle uses. Of course, it’s a perfect underbody light when working on vehicles and can be moved as needed.My observations:• Quality throughout the light is excellent. Extreme adjustability

I got a hold of a Milwaukee M12 Lithium-ion cordlessLED underbody light. The light comes with a 4.0Ah battery and charger.This underbody light is very bright; it puts 600 lumens on low, 800 lumens on medium, and 1200 lumens on high. It has powerful magnets to hold it in place that work well. You can also use this light top side in the engine compartment because of its ability to twist and extend, plus the bright white light works well.Overall, I like the built-in magnets to hold nuts, bolts, various hardware, the five-year warranty, and its impact and corrosion resistant. This Milwaukee light is probably the easiest light I have used because of the many positions you can change it to.

Many applications

I already have many M12 tools and batteries so this is a nice addition to my collection. I used it to light up my SUV undercarriage to install a trailer hitch. The downside is that modern smaller vehicles do not have a lot of steel surface area to attach a magnet to. It was helpful and I can see how on a larger truck it would work better. It does work great on the side tray of my BBQ (not stainless steel). It extends over enough to light up the grill for night time grilling. I work in construction where steel studs and other steel surfaces are ubiquitous, this is great for directing light more specifically.
