Brilliant light, wish we had these things years ago. Fantastic when plugged in and the built in charger is a game changer. The battery lasts for a good while on full lumens and even longer on low which is still plenty bright enough.

Apparently you could take that off and fit a normal mains plug because the spec says it'll take both voltages but it's still going to inconvenience some people.This is a hefty piece of kit that's very well thought out. It puts out lots of light and it's a good job you can vary the output because there could be cases where the full setting is too much - and of course turning it down means it can run longer on a battery charge. The max height of over 2 metres is really handy and the adjustability of height and angle is easy and quick. It charges an 18V battery when it's on mains power and there's a USB output that you can switch on even when the light is off, which is good.

Bought 2 of these last week and although not the cheapest option are extremely well built, complete doddle to erect and operate and give off an excelent 'daylight' light. The adjustment in height, angles of the 3 seperate heads is usefull and the whole unit when erected is very stable. Lovely little touches like holes in the base so you can stake / screw it down, usb charger , 110v and 240v use if you need to conform to site safety. Battery life is OK on a Milwaukee 18v battery and will charge when you plug it into mains. On full power with a 8AH battery it lasted over 6 hours, would need 2 batteries to last a day/night. Best battery optioned site light I've used by far.
