No-brainer purchase if looking for this style light and you’re already invested in the M12 system. Deep reflector provides a tight spot with lots of throw. Light is probably 2700K, soft white, so things look more natural, particularly at a distance. The trigger on/off switch sounds cheap when operated.

Great flashlight.Lights up the trees and deer eyes from 600 feet away and definitely would go farther.Don't have to scroll through all the modes to turn it on and off. Has a trigger switch AND a selector switch so it stays on the mode you have it set on. Runs forever on my 6ah battery and a very long time on a 2ah.Two negatives bringing it down a star.1. Dim mode isn't dim enough. Not much difference from high. And high it is.2. Not balanced well. Stands up on a large battery not on small.

Excellent m12 flood light. Beam is bright and strong. Multiple settings for brightness. Rope hand harness comes in handy when not needing to hold the light. Pistol grip and trigger are comfortable to use and easy to turn on/off. Distance is quite impressive and rivals my other non-Milwaukee flashlights/spot lights that are 2-3x more expensive. I have many m12 batteries, and will use this a lot when searching at night.

This is the first M12 system product that I have returned. I did not like it at all. It is heavy and I didnt feel it was as bright as my smaller 18650-powered Nitecore lights. I did like the neutral colored light that it puts out. My plan had been to use this for tracking game since the light color is so nice but the bulk of the light made it awkward. The two brightness modes were not easily discernable. There was a minor change in brightness but not much. I ordered the M12 work flood light along with this and love it. I wanted to love this light too, but I just couldn’t warm up to it.
Great Flashlight to have on hand. It has great range and the light is very bright.I have used both 1.5A battery and 4.0A Battery and frankly they are equally good. The 1.5 lasts really long. The only real negative I have is that there are two modes of operation and there really isn't much difference between them. Other than to check how the modes work, I have yet to use the second mode. So to improve maybe it can be changed to a narrow zoom mode and a flood light mode in the future. But if you have the M12 system, this is a great addition to have. You wont be disappointed
I can't believe the light that comes out of such a small and lightweight package. This says it goes out to 700 yards, and I've measured it at more than that, easily. I live in a rural area where it is very dark, and this light penetrates the darkness incredibly well. I have a few Surefire flashlights that cost several hundred dollars each, and this out-performs even those lights on the quality of the beam, battery life, weight, value, and durability. With the XC size battery on it, it easily stands up with the battery acting as the base. Both of the intensity settings are nice and bright. I know on these lights, sometimes the low setting is too low to be of any value, but not so with this light. It doesn't heat up, like some LED's do and I'm amazed as to how long ... MoreI can't believe the light that comes out of such a small and lightweight package. It doesn't heat up, like some LED's do and I'm amazed as to how long the battery lasts (I've used it with both the standard size and XC batteries and been very impressed). The only thing I'd like is the option to have a belt clip mounted on the side of the light as with many of the Milwaukee tools which would make it easier to store when I'm on a ladder. As with all the newer Milwaukee cordless tools, I'm very impressed with how they blend the metal, plastic, and rubber components to achieve the lightweight and non-slip ergonomic grip and the overall balance of the tool. To turn the light on intermittently, just depress the trigger slightly and release it to shut it off. For a constant on, you depress the trigger all the way until it clicks and to shut if off, press it again until it clicks and release it to turn it off. There are 3 modes, high, low and strobe. Whatever mode you are in when you shut it off is the mode it starts in the next time you turn it on (even if in strobe mode). To go from the high to low setting, you press the 'mode' button on the back and to get to the strobe setting, you press and hold the mode button when the light is on (either high or low). To get out of the strobe setting, just press the mode button once while the light is on and it will return you to the setting you were in before activating the strobe. If you want a simple and easy to use light that has a surprisingly bright beam, is lightweight, durable (I've dropped it), and has a great ergonomic feel, get this light--you won't be disappointed!
I'm an avid hunter and from time to time I have to go out in the woods in the dark to find my harvested deer. This spotlight illuminates the entire woods and makes finding my game easy. If you've ever wondered through the woods at night its easy to get turned around. This light is so bright I never lost my way. I think its a great buy for the price when compared to others. Milwaukee tools are awesome. I have everything from a weed wacker to impacts and they never disappoint. I would buy this again! I would like to try the bigger, brighter Milwaukee search and rescue light.
Milwaukee M12 12-Volt Lithium-Ion Cordless 750 Lumens TRUEVIEW LED Spotlight W (1) 2.0 Ah Battery and Charger - Model #2353-20-48-59-2420.Very surprised that this Milwaukee TRUEVIEW LED Spotlight fails to turn on at least 50% of the time. Just received it today, charged the new battery and what a letdown when the light would not work. Removed and reinstalled battery two more times before the spotlight would function correctly and this continues to be a reoccurring inop problem with this light. Wondering if this is a known problem with this product? Did I purchase an earlier manufactured product that has a design or manufacturing issue that has now been problem been resolved? Thought I was getting a great deal…..?
First spotlight died in a week. Middle of winter two years ago, I had it sitting in my truck on the passenger seat, light was off. The truck's hot air was blasting for an hour in -40 temps while I was on a job site. Went back to get it. Turned it on, would work. Switched with three batteries. The spotlight was dead. Returned it to Home Depot for a refund and repurchased. Second issue is this spotlight is a battery killer. I left the light on for a job. Usually only have it on for 5-10 minutes. I accidentally left it on for an unknown amount of time. The battery died. It would not recharge. Charger flashed red/green which means permanently disabled battery. I threw another 4ah in the spotlight and left it on to see if it would happen again. Yes, killed the battery ... MoreFirst spotlight died in a week. Yes, killed the battery same way. I acquired quite a few batteries during sales, so I can afford to lose a few. I am selling the spotlight. It has issues. Try for yourself.
This spotlight was a worthy investment. It brightens up the darkest areas and is pretty rugged, as I've dropped it off ladders a few to many times. But the batteries held up and the unit itself is still sturdy. The gripes.. the dimmer mode isn't that dim, and I wish it would change colors. it currently is at 4100k, but I prefer 5000k. Wish it could swap, and have a couple more dimming options to save battery .The weight is perfect and holds great in my hand!
