[Rewarded Review] A place of "first resort" for security bits in my basement shop

I’m a semi-retired I.T. tech, no longer a pro car mechanic, so this review comes from a DIY’er standpoint.I’m not usually a fan of “all in one” drivers - I have a few and, while they’re handy sometimes, the grip/feel of the handle usually feels a bit off, like they’re trying too hard to hold too many bits. This new Milwaukee is better than what I’m used to in that respect. I wear a size “Large” mechanic’s glove and the fit/feel of the screwdriver is fine. I think that part of the successful design is that Milwaukee ‘double stacked’ the bits in the handle rather than have them lodged in one large circular tube. Take a look at the attached photos.Another feature (not unique to Milwaukee) is that all of the bits are stamped with the size of the bit - and you may want to spend a few minutes rotating each bit in its position in the handle so that the stamping is easily readable at a glance. Having the stamp rotated out of view really doesn’t help. YMMV. Again, see the photos.Another pet peeve of mine with this type of driver is when the bit is gripped so hard by the tool that you have to remove it from the driver using a pair of pliers. Milwaukee has, again, done a good job here - the bits hold snuggly but I can pull them out of the tool even when wearing mechanic’s gloves without needing a pair of pliers. The ratcheting feature (forward, reverse, and solid drive) works very well and is appreciated most when working in tight quarters (YMMV).The package includes these bits: T7, T8, T10, T15, T20, T25, T27, T30, T40, SP4, SP6, SP8, SP10, 3/32", 7/64", 1/8", 9/64", 5/32" (4mm), 3/16", 2mm, 2.5mm, 3mm, 5mm, TS6, TS8, TS10, and the driver itself works as a 1/4" Nut Driver. This is another reason I like this “all-in-one” driver - keeping track of security bits and having the correct one available when needed can be a pain. At least with the Milwaukee I have a “look in here first” option with a reasonable expectation that I can get the job done without further hunting. The screwdriver comes with a lifetime warranty from Milwaukee and a 90-day return policy from Home Depot.

Exactly what I needed to access the electrical controller for a Halloween prop that needed repair. The power supply had "security" Torx screws holding it together. I assume the manufacturer was concerned about someone opening the case while it was still plugged in. I was able to easily open the case, trim back the frayed wire, reattach it, and close the box back up. I was also able to open a commercial external steam iron and find the broken part which will now be easy to replace. I found the ratchet works well, is easy to switch between settings, and has a fixed setting as expected. The retainer on included extension is kind of tight and it can be difficult to remove some of the smaller bits that are hard to get a hold of from the extension.
