Fantastic quality and sturdier than factory items. I do wish there was either a higher lip or something rubber that would keep the items in their respective bins such as nails. Apart from that, highly recommended!

Higher quality than I was expecting. It is 3D printed, but the layers are super fine. The fit was absolutely perfect. By that I mean that they don't wobble or rattle when in the case. The only recommendation I can make is maybe add a sight lip on the top inside of each tub to make it a bit easier to pick them up out of the case. The red color I chose was also a very good red as well. Overall, I'm very impressed and happy with this item.

I do a LOT of remodeling work. Because of this, I have plumbing parts, electrical parts, low voltage parts, tons and tons of different kinds of fasteners for wood, sheetrock, metal, concrete, etc.. as well as a redicculous number of bolts, washers, etc... and all the bits and drivers for said fasteners. After migrating everything to the packout storage and organization system, it's all easy to find, organized, and allows me to effectively, and proactively manage inventory. My favorite feagures:* Things stay in place when the container is dropped or shaken* watertight* Any individual 'cup' can be brought with you when you don't want or need the whole packout container, like just the one with extra sheetrock screws.* Containers are super tough and durable, ... MoreI do a LOT of remodeling work. For instance, I have containers filled with 12V connectors, fuses, etc.. for working on the boat/lawn mower/gas powered toys/vehicles. I would never switch these to packouts as it would be 4x the number of containers due to the lack of small parts pockets.* Labels do not stick to these things. I've tried more than a dozen different label maker ribbon options. Nothing sticks for more than a couple months at best. The lack of a labeling system built-in likethe Tanos system, is a ****HUGE oversight from Milwaukee. This is like the first thing they should have considered! It is mind boggling that they have no labeling system!* They are a bit expensive. They are nice, and I own about 35 of them now, but let's be real, these are like $70 for 'fancy' Rubbermaid plastic containers.* more of their tools and should come with a packout case instead of an injection molded case or a bag.* I wish the packout system had an actual work surface option more like the Festool cart, and less like the excessivly expensive 'packout board'.

I purchased this, gave it a try, and returned it. Full points for Milwaukee quality, however there is a significant limitation to this item that potential buyers should consider. The unit is low profile AND the lid indents into each compartment so that about 25% of the apparent bin space is lost. This is to accommodate the interlocking aspect of the Packout system. That's fine, except the only the smallest parts that rearrange themselves when the lid comes down will not interfere with the closing of the lid, and prevent other Packout elements from being docked. As an example, small screws are typically fine. If they are mounded in the bin, they will redistribute when the lid comes down. Larger screws (1" plus) will typically not, so the lid won't close properly. In ... MoreI purchased this, gave it a try, and returned it. In loading it up with my intended items, I discovered I needed to shake the whole thing on a flat surface to settle all the contents each time I wanted to close the lid. And even then, there were usually a couple that I had to manually poke down to allow clearance. In summary, if you are using this for really small things, loosely packed, it's probably going to be fine. However, for anything about that I would consider the deeper unit.

The 8 small bins and 2 large bins, along with the dividers, allow for customizable configurations to suit individual needs. This level of flexibility is fantastic, as it enables me to neatly arrange tools of different sizes and shapes, making it a breeze to find what I need quickly. The low-profile design is another standout feature of this tool box. It not only looks sleek and professional but also allows for easy storage in tight spaces. Whether I'm working in my garage or transporting the tool box to a job site, its compact size ensures it doesn't take up unnecessary space. One aspect I particularly appreciate is the attention to detail in the design. The latches are sturdy and secure, providing peace of mind that the contents won't accidentally spill out during transit. The comfortable handle makes it easy to carry the tool box around, even when it's fully loaded with tools.Overall, the "48-22-8431 for Milwaukee 10-Compartment Durable Low-Profile Tool Box" is a top-notch product that has revolutionized my tool organization system. Its durability, weather resistance, and versatile storage options make it an invaluable addition to any toolbox collection. If you're seeking a high-quality, well-designed tool box that will keep
I have a few of these and they work out great for smaller items around the shop. You can also easily modify the containers to utilize them for even more. Overall this has been a great product. Very durable and has held up to average shop usage. The material stays within its divider very well. It's only when the material get very small like #4 flat washers that it starts to get one or two outside of their bins but it still isn't bad.Bottom line these seem a little expensive for the money at first but if you give one a try you'll find the little extra touches that make it worth it's price.
Its designed to where anything you put in the cups they wont bounce out with the lid closed. The clear lid lets you see exactly what you have inside so theres no guessing. I used mine for electrical items. Butt connectors, wire nuts, zip ties, electrical tape, crimping pliers, heat shrink and a few other things. If youre an organized person and like good products, you definitely need to invest in this. I have others as well. All good stuff.
Great parts organizer for small parts, and one of the first things that made me seriously consider Milwaukee packout. I started with 2 of these, plus 2 of the standard depth organizer. I will likely be adding more of these low-profile organizers as well as some of the half-width versions of them to my collection soon.
Great units, built well. The one and only short coming is with sales, not construction.I need more of the long 4 inch pockets and fewer of the square units. Why can I not purchase extras of the long units separately? The dream revision would be able to place any compartment anywhere with the case and not be locked in by the indents in the lid! But that is minor compared to not being able to buy replacement or spare dividers.
