I have a diverse assortment of tools that includes both high-end options like those from Mac and Snap-on, as well as more affordable sets like Craftsman. Despite their varying prices, this is a great middle ground, especially when compared to my pricier mechanics tools. I got these to replace the mix-N-match metric set I had been using as a road tech. Our equipment used fractional hardware until the last few years, so as I was using metrics more frequently, I got these rather than taking my Snap-on set from home. I don't like cheap tools, but these days there isn't much between Chineseum and a $500 set. The slight swell in the center of the handle makes them more comfortable for high torque applications than my straight handle wrenches, and the jaws in the open end are less prone to slippage than regular flat jaws. The box end is slightly fatter than the more expensive brands, but I didn't have problems getting them in anywhere. They engage with a very positive feel, so you know whether you are fully on the fastener even if you can't see it or put a finger on it... either they are engaged or they aren't, no slipping off. I came away very impressed, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend these. The only negative I can give them is that they don't have a 24mm either with the set or available separately. I don't consider it to be a full set without that, and I had to carry an off brand 24. Hopefully Milwaukee will "finish" this set eventually.

I recently switched from a automotive to diesel mechanic, and every bolt and nut are smoked down. My Snap-On wrenches we’re digging into my palm when I had to wrench a hard to get to bolt or nut covered with rust, grime, or undercoating. You can feel the quality of the wrench when you first pick it up, then again when you start using it. The I-beam construction is vastly more comfortable in your palm on those stubborn fasteners than the thinner Snap-On wrenches, and a quarter of the cost! It’s rare today to find excellent quality and a affordable price. You’ll not be disappointed.

Nice but need more sizes and non-maxbite option

These are very good quality, I rate them up there with the best. But... for building custom cars and motorcycles we need non maxbite to not marr up the fasteners on our high end clients vehicles. I kinda like having all the same brand wrenches, but can't with Milwaukee because so limited in sizing. Would be nice to see 4.5mm all the way up to 36mm if not up to 42mm and yes we all like no skip sets haha. Im sure Milwaukee has the customer base for this expansion.

They are exactly as advertised in look, comfortably of use and the Max Bite is no gimmick. The tool size is clearly indicated and very easy to find the wrench needed especially with the very nicely color coded wrench holder (bought both SAE and metric sets) it keeps the tools drawer clean and to where you don’t spend five minutes digging through trying to locate what you need. Worth every penny as it did what’s advertised, as well saved me a load of time repairing my vehicle with out the hassle of searching for which ever wrench was needed through out my project. Will absolutely recommend to friends!!!

Well I used to buy Craftsman and have some very fine Professional grade sets, unfortunately despite their “lifetime” guarantee they are no longer made so I can never actually replace them if I were to break one. So, because of this, I started looking for some high quality Lifetime guaranteed wrench sets to modernize my tool sets. There are plenty available for sure, but I found them all to be pretty much identical and having a wide range of cost none of them inspired me, then I came upon these gorgeous wrenches from Milwaukee and really appreciated their innovation and high-quality construction. Now I will readily admit that nearly every feature of these wrenches is available from other MFR’s but interestingly no one offers them all together except Milwaukee and that was the deciding factor (along with their reasonable price) for me. The modified “I” beam shank design is really easy on your hands. I call it a modified “I” beam design because while these are clearly shaped like an I-beam Milwaukee Engineers rounded or tapered the more traditionally sharp edges to provide for much more comfort than the blade shank design and avoids the other “hot spots” from traditional I-beam designs, for me it is a perfect compromise. These also have large easy to read contrast painted size markings on them which doesn’t make you have to strain to see them when you are looking for that particular size even from a distance they’re easy to distinguish. Finally, and probably the best innovation/feature is their “max bite open-end grip”. Milwaukee has done a really great job solving some long-standing short comings of standard open-end wrenches by likely completely removing the tendency for them to round over fasteners and at the same time providing more grip than those same traditional open-end wrenches we have all been using for decades. I wouldn’t be honest if I didn’t mention that while the box-end is by no means thick and bulky it is not the thinnest wall available but to get a real thin wall combination wrench set you would need to spend 2 or 3 times what these cost and I don’t need them that thin for the kind of work I do, so for me, this is not an issue but you will have to decide for yourselves depending on what you are willing to spend and how you intend to use them. Needless to say, I am extremely happy with my decision to purchase these modern high-quality innovative combination wrenches and highly recommend them to others.
