It's a proper toy :) let her do the work and she go through anything (she a Pruning saw). 2x4 4x4 sheet and the odd tree easily. 6ah @ pieces rate (1/2 hour soild) that a lot of wood chopped. But she like to drink so order some bar oil at the same time.

Best thing ive bpught in a long while. Stuck up a leylandi 15ft in the air on a ladder, giving them a hair cut, too thiclk for a bow saw and doing a bit too much wabbling about. Already fallen off the ladder, spotted this, wow cuts through 3 inch branches like hot knife through butter. Saved me. Got cut in a day what had taken me 2 days before. Loads of trees to trim and made light work of it.Couldnt find the milwaukee chain lube though anywhere, so just bought some stuff from screwfix, fid the job.Only problem, could fo with a belt hook like the milwaukee drills and drivers. Bit awkward when up a tree, nowhere to hook it when mot in use.

This thing is a beast, I love it. It's small size makes it a very nimble piece of equipment for trimming and quick jobs. My neighbour had a 8 inch branch fall on his car, 5 minutes after I got there with the hatchet the branch was gone.
About 9 months in with 3-4 months of use , it’s a great all rounder to use with my main saw. Maybe it could use a 200 mm blade like it bigger m18 brother ….I will get the m18 and see ( as it wasn’t released when I purchased) unfortunately the 6ah batteries have failed so I am waiting for warranty response. Fingers crossed and I’ll update you asap
I am a sparky. I only bought this for the garden, pruning etc.It has be so handy getting to those hard to get spots & making much safer than using a petrol or the bigger milwaukee chainsaw. I used the 4Ah batteries and they lasted me half the day. Was absolutely brilliant. The only anoying thing I found was it doesn't still very well on its base. For the price you can go wrong. Mind you early days. See how it is in 5 years. I have done maybe 6-7 hours worth of work with it so far. I would say has paid for itself already.
I purchased this little pruning saw to assist me with my pruning tasks around the garden. I have found it to be a powerful little assistant, that doesn’t frighten me as a chainsaw does. Only negative is trying to remove battery! Sadly I need someone else to do that for me.
Birthday gift and was a bit apprehensive at first as i have a few alternative like a bulky and heavy resipro saw etc so I would not have considered buying another tool. However - incredibly useful its all I use now and it cuts through my trees like a knife through butter even used to cut up treated logs for a retaining wall. Have cut many 6" (living) tree trunks. Most of my trees left now are only palms, I find am able to cut what I need in say an 40 min without changing batteries over -usually.Its light weight easy to use one handed. It does fall over when placed on the ground because its thin to get into tight spots but laying on its side is not an issue but just feels wrong laving on the dirt. Oil lubrication works well and your not always topping up like my ... MoreBirthday gift and was a bit apprehensive at first as i have a few alternative like a bulky and heavy resipro saw etc so I would not have considered buying another tool. However - incredibly useful its all I use now and it cuts through my trees like a knife through butter even used to cut up treated logs for a retaining wall. Really great piece of kit. Light and easy to use, it speeds through the small trunks, and thick branches. My only criticism would be that he speed it goes through oil.
This HARCHET saw is the best saw for the garden. Cuts all the items i needs to cut from thick branches to sleepers. The only trouble is my wife and son in law wont give it back.
