This is a great game. As a family that loves Minecraft, we really enjoyed this game. It plays like a choose your own story game. You even get to pick your character. There are several options to choose from. In the game, you watch how your choices play out, with some opportunities to actually control your character. The story is broken up into several chapters that you have to buy separately if you didn't get the latest version. The story itself was interesting with the right amount of humor, and memorable characters. I loved learning more about the Minecraft world!

As someone who's never played minecraft I can honestly say I enjoyed this game. I purchased it because I'm a fan of anything Telltale releases. They aren't always winners, but this one plenty of fun. I would guess it's even more enjoyable for fans of minecraft who would understand all the references and storylines that i wasn't familiar with. And it is looooong. You get your money's worth in gameplay time alone. Comes with all the dlc also.

Good game, support needs some work

We installed the game right after Christmas and my son played through Episode One. He said it was really fun. Even though he had some issues reading all the options for dialog in the short amount of time it gives you. I don't think he was really too concerned about the choices he was making or didn't realize the effect on the story. Which is good for replay-ability.However, when it came time to start Episode 2, it showed as Coming Soon, as did Episodes 3-4. I know these episodes are already out, but I was unable to download them. I rebooted the console, as well as logged into the main account on the XBox One. No change. At one point I was able to go to the download page, but it stated I needed to pay the $4.99 for each episode. I ended up having to delete the entire game (game save data stayed intact) and then I was able to download Episodes 2-4 (5 isn't out yet) without issue. Seems like a lot of wasted time.I'd advise making sure you install all the episodes before you start playing.

Great Concealer!
14 March 2017

I have used Mary Kay products for over 20 years and have loved the quality. This concealer has the same quality as the majority of the other products I've used. What I really like about this concealer is once you put it on, it doesn't smear or lose it's concealing; it stays on until I take it off. I use waterproof mascara on my bottom lashes and other concealer's I've tried smear and I end up with raccoon eyes but this product doesn't do that. It doesn't make my other make up smudge or smear. Mary Kay has a different concealer in the black tube but I find this one, even though it's getting more difficult to find, is far superior. Great concealer!

Great Start. Lackluster Finish.
19 January 2017

Whether or not you consider yourself a fan of Minecraft, this game is very good.In typical Telltale fashion, the company takes the source material and builds upon it while still keeping true. Unlike other Telltale games, this one allows you to pick a gender at the start. The game references every element of Minecraft, even mentioning concepts that have only gained popularity online. From the beginning of episode 1 to the end of episode 4, one complete and epic story is told. Unfortunately, the next 4 episodes are all stand alone stories that have little to do with each other. Even so, the game remains entertaining. But it's the first 4 episodes where the game truly shines.Definitely a game worth playing.

Halo Re-envisioned: Same Great Game + Eye Candy = Recipe of Awesomeness!
6 November 2012

What is there not to love about this game? From being able to wield a pistol that gives Thors hammer a run for its money to fish-tailing like a lunatic in the good ol Warthog, this game captures everything that we Halo fans loved about Halo: Combat Evolved (CE). I picked this game up to fill that Halo: CE shaped hole in my heart that missed playing the game that was such an entertainment staple for me in years past. Halo: CE Anniversary is the same exact game as the original Halo except that it is presented to us with stunning new graphics and extra goodies to be found in-game, such as skulls that alter gameplay when activated (unlimited ammo anyone?) and terminals that gives new insight (in the form of videos) into events that transpire prior to and during the ... MoreWhat is there not to love about this game? Achievements are a nice touch as well, as some of them are quite fun to obtain! With the new graphics, youll be sure to appreciate the crisp new details on all of your favorite weaponry as you traverse the visually stunning Covenant and Flood filled environments of the Halo ring. If you dont care about the new graphics and extras or just wish to experience some sweet nostalgia, the game allows you to switch from the new graphics to the original graphics and vice-versa by simply pressing the select button on your Xbox 360 controller. Is that cool or what? If you are hoping to be able to do battle once more in multiplayer on iconic maps like Blood Gulch or Sidewinder, Im sorry to say that the original Halo multiplayer has been replaced with the multiplayer of Halo Reach. Six maps have been re-envisioned for the Halo Reach multiplayer, but I would have preferred to have been able to experience the good times of the original multiplayer even if it were only possible for offline play. Lets be honest, who doesnt miss Halo LAN parties? While I do have my complaints with the multiplayer aspect of the game, Im sure 343 Industries has their reasons for not bringing it back and the fact that it is not available does not bother me enough to change my opinion of how wonderful this revived game is. Believe me, Halo: Combat Evolved is a game you want in your collection. I feel it matches any new release games entertainment wise and were talking about a game that was first brought to market in 2001! The fact that Halo: Combat Evolved has now had two very successful separate releases should be a testament to you purchasing this game! Lock n load, Spartan!

I purchased this for my niece to play as I know she likes Minecraft. She had never played this version. Once she got over the frustration of getting out the treehouse she was good to go. She's 10. It's funny game and even funnier when u find out how your decisions effects your game play. Easy to follow game but I thought it was short. Seeing there were more chapters to be played, I was dumbfounded that she was unable to play without paying extra. The packaging says SEASON PASS DISC. One assumes that a season pass grants u full access to all features of the game. So now I'm perplexed as to why we have to pay. I will research a little more thus why I'm giving this 4 stars. One thing almost kills it...

This game is pretty fun, and it's not too difficult. But occasionally, there are points in which the button prompts pass too quickly and it's easy to die. This wouldn't be a big deal if you re-started relatively close to the point at which you died, but unfortunately the checkpoints in this game are incredibly far apart. When I would die, I would often have to sit through the last ten minutes or more of the game to get back to where I was.For a game that is much more watching than playing, this is an extremely frustrating thing. There were times where I wanted to keep playing, but just couldn't stand to sit through a large portion of the game again that I had just sat through, in the hopes that I would get the button prompts correct when they flashed up there ... MoreThis game is pretty fun, and it's not too difficult. There were times where I wanted to keep playing, but just couldn't stand to sit through a large portion of the game again that I had just sat through, in the hopes that I would get the button prompts correct when they flashed up there again when I FINALLY got back to the spot that I had died. Granted, most of the prompts in this game give a fair amount of time to react and are pretty forgiving, but certainly not all of them! And that's besides the point anyway. There is no reason that the game should set you back so far if you die, no matter how frequently or infrequently it happens. This killed it for my kids and almost killed it for me too. There were times I turned it off because I had zero desire to sit through the same ten or fifteen minutes for a third time in a row, and then I also had no motivation to turn it back on again later, knowing that was what was waiting for me. Overall, I like the game but again, I absolutely loathed that one thing about it, and despite my interest in other Telltale games, I won't be checking them out, as I assume they will be the same way.

Short but enjoyable adventure
21 November 2016

I bought this with reservations, I had enjoyed the first episode and I was curious to see how the rest of the story would turn out. I knew that it was likely to be short as well and I was right there, however the seventeen hours it took me to complete the game was worth the time. You play as Jesse, who can be either female or male, who, with their friends Oliva, Axel and their pig Rueben, take part in a building contest. However the contest becomes the last thing on their mind when a creature called a Wither is unleashed on the world and quite quickly causes as much destruction as possible at a fast rate. This turns into an adventure that revolves around finding the remaining members of the Order Of The Stone and getting their help in stopping the Wither, however ... MoreI bought this with reservations, I had enjoyed the first episode and I was curious to see how the rest of the story would turn out. Not easy considering how many portals there are.~~You get both season passes in the game which allows you to download and install all eight episodes, each episode takes around two hours or less, that depends on the player though. You can rewind an episode if you feel that any choices you made were wrong and since some achievements are easy to miss in the first three episodes then you might find yourself rewinding the episodes so to get those achievements if you are looking for a 100% completion in that area. The game is pretty Quick Time Event heavy so don't expect to have the kind of experience that you get with the normal Minecraft game, this game is designed around choices and a more linear experience unlike the original Minecraft game. This doesn't detract from how enjoyable Minecraft Story Mode can be though despite it's short play length, it might even get you interested in playing Minecraft yourself and creating your own adventure afterwards. Maybe. It can be a nice game to just chill out to if you're looking for a break from a more hectic game or looking for something that's short and sweet with a pretty easy achievement list to complete.I would recommend this if you're looking for a short but enjoyable game.
