Im a cold sleeper in southern Tas and very much not looking forward to the winter nights. I decided to purchase a winter doona and did so hesitatingly, it was a big dollar expense for something that may not deliver on its packaging promises nor the sales persons spiel. However this doona delivers its promises and is nice and light yet very warm and cosy. Itâs a worthwhile investment to keep warm in winter.

Lives up to the claims 100%. No more hot/cold but even comfortable sleep for us both. Beautiful quality, made in Australia with Australian wool. Cotton casing around the quilt is quiet so no ârustlingâ when you move around. I have several Mini Jumbuk quilts for year round comfort.

I love the quality and comfort of Minijumbuk's products - I have their quilts, mattress protectors and pillows. The fact that their wool quilts are machine washable and also able to be tumble-dried ( gently ) was also a big plus for me. Also I'm supporting an Australian company with my purchases of their products.This is a top-up product for me to go over another Thermal quilt ( I am an extra cold sleeper ), but my husband finds this warmth great for all but the coldest nights.I do keep my eye out for Myers' sales on Minijumbuk, because, y'know, sales. :-)

After waking up cold each night with our lightweight quilt, I purchased the Minijumbuck Warm wool quilt. Weâve owned several of their quilts and they are always excellent quality. I immediately felt much warmer at night and am finding it perfect for the winter months. Our home is not too cold overall but if it was, I would probably choose the thermal rating but in Sydney winter temperatures, the warm one is definitely warm enough for us.
After losing my husband 10 months ago to cancer, it became very obvious when you are alone in bed, you are COLD. This Thermal MiniJumbuk would have to be the WARMEST, lightest, snuggly quilt for winter. You will NOT BE COLD again if you sleep alone. Thankfully, I purchased it in the Winter Sale because it is not cheap but unfortunately, "you only get what you pay for" in this day and age. Excellent quality that you will just not beat. Follow washing instructions and like all MiniJumbuk quilts, it will last for several years to the point you will forget when you bought it.
I bought this quilt for my mother who complains about the âsub-freezingâ temperatures in canberra every winter. She also doesnât like heavy quilts as they âconstructâ her blood flow. The verdict, not a peep. She slept warm and was raving about the quilt. I tried it myself after she left and indeed the quilt is warm without it being heavy.
It was a really cold winter in Sydney this year, so I needed a good wool quilt, and I went to a bedding store before ordering from Myer, but I couldn't find one that I was particularly happy with.Then a friend recommended this brand, and the price was not really cheap. Myer actually offered a half-price deal, so I just â what are you waiting for, order now!âNow I just want to say, it's 100% worth it.When I first took it out, I thought it was quite light, so I doubted it would be as warm as it was said to be. It really will! Super warm and comfortable. I even went back and bought a new quilt cover for it, and I think it deserves a better cover.It's been a cold winter, but my happiness quotient has gone up because of MiniJumbuk Thermal!

I bought the warm quilt 5 years ago and it kept me warm since then. It is very durable and of good quality. Such experience made me buy another one for colder weather this time. I definitely chose the same brand and the same shop. I was also very grateful that the sale assistant did a price match for me.
This quilt is extremely lightweight and cosy so its good for those who want to keep warm without the discomfort of a heavy blanket on top. However, I am rather disappointed that it is not as warm as I presumed it to be, seeing this is supposed to be a thermal quilt. Living in Inner west Sydney, the temperature is low but no where near as cold as outer Sydney or more rural areas but yet I have to use another blanket on top of this thermal quilt in order to keep warm. This then defeats the purpose of using just one quilt in winter. For the price that it is I would not recommend this quilt. I would say this is a very good wool quilt, but not a good thermal quilt.
