Clear Satin Minwax Polycrylic Protective Finish is a crystal clear, ultra fast drying protective topcoat. Protects and adds beauty to interior wood surfaces including woodwork, furniture, doors and cabinets. The crystal clear finish is ideal for use over light woods like maple, ash and birch as well as over most other color stains. Polycrylic should not be applied over red mahogany stain. Instead, use Minwax Fast Drying Polyurethane or Minwax Water Based Oil Modified Polyurethane over any red mahogany stain. Polycrylic is not recommended for use on floors because it would require more frequent recoating in high traffic areas. Apply with a synthetic bristle brush on interior wood surfaces. Stir well before and regularly during use. Do not shake. Finish appears milky in the can but dries crystal clear. Recoat after 2 hours, dry time 3 hours for light handling, 24 hours for normal use. Cleans up easily with soap and warm water immediately after use. Covers approximately 30 square feet per 1/2 pint. Maximum VOC content of 275 grams per liter.
