Mitsouko is mysterious fragrance, not allowing everyone to see its beauty. The opening is long, like a play of all beautiful notes, and, of course, this fragrance is not for ordinary day use. On the skin it sounds as if it starts from far away, without any allusion to its intensity and sensual side. Mitsouko is one of the well known aromas of chypre olfactory group with cool top notes and oak moss in the base. But it also has a note of a juicy peach, which gives a clear and quite gourmand nuance. It features bergamot, peach, jasmine, may rose, spices (cinnamon), oak moss, vetiver and wood. Mitsouko Eau de Parfum by Guerlain is a Chypre Fruity fragrance for women. Mitsouko Eau de Parfum was launched in 1919. The nose behind this fragrance is Jacques Guerlain. Top notes are citruses, jasmine, bergamot and rose; middle notes are lilac, peach, jasmine, ylang-ylang and rose; base notes are spices, amber, cinnamon, vetiver and oakmoss.

Amazing classic. Smells witchy. You can easily mix it with a faint fruity fragrance to make it more 'feminine', but on its own it gives a mysterious esoteric fragrance which lasts even after you wash! And it's EDT! Lovely, one of my favourites!

My absolute go-to fragrance! This fragrance has so much to say in just one spritz! Over 100 years old and still relevant to those who love real perfumery! Forget basic sweet florals and boring woody air fresheners, Mitsouko makes a bold and confident statement. The name meaning 'Mystery' from Japanese, truly evokes the spirit of this scent. It's been worn by famous trendsetters of the 20th century, both male and female and continues to wow the noses of today. Go and try it out!

Warning: this is not for wimps! Mitsouko is something your grandma may have put on before going to a swanky event, but it is by no means an old lady scent. It’s a rich, peach-infused Chypre that wears for hours and it’s not gentle. This perfume makes a statement as much now as when I first wore it over 30 years ago. I revisited it recently and got at least six hours out of one spritz. Wear it like you’d wear a fur coat and tiara.

Mitsouko Eau de Toilette / Eau de Parfum by Guerlain is a fragrance for women, launched in 1919. The top notes are: Bergamot, Citrus, Jasmine and Rose. The middle notes are: Peach, Ylang Ylang, Jasmine, Rose and Lilac. The base notes are: Oakmoss, Spices, Cinnamon, Vetiver and Amber. The difference between eau de toilette and eau de parfum lies only in the intensity. The second is much stronger, which is why I prefer to spray it on clothes otherwise the smell of alcohol prevails.
Mitsouko by Guerlain is such an incredible perfume. A mix of classical, feminist and luxurious scent. I originally bought it due to the myth and story behind it, heard that the movie: "Perfume: The story of the murderer" was inspired by this bottle, and never expected that it would have such an amazing smell! You might think at the first spray that it can be a bit too old and too classy, but just wait for its second layer scent, it is incredible! EDT but the smell stays all day! Definitely my favourite and recommend to anyone who loves a warm, classical and mature scent.
I love this perfume. But the scent on one skin can be very different on another because of the different mix of amino acids etc that are present in the sweat. So, try it on yourself. See how it changes over the hours. It can smell much heavier in the evenings than in daytime. Try it several times over weeks and if you like it all the time then it is an excellent purchase. I hate being given perfume that doesn't suit my skin and it just sits there. Always choose your perfumes carefully.
This is a classic perfume. It dates from the early 1930's. It is beautiful and seems to last for a while. No perfume products last long by manufacturers design.
This is magical - such an unusual yet beautiful classic. It has a mysterious, mature Art Deco vibe that somehow reminds me of an old library or books - very comforting & cozy but never outdated. I dont necessarily pick up on the peach notes, but do notice woody spices and jasmine, which add some sparkle, and there is a fabulous oak moss, vetiver & amber dry down that makes this such a keeper. Its wonderfully unlike any of my other perfumes. Im not surprised that this year is Mitsoukos 100th birthday & its still going strong. Guerlain knows how.
