The fridge in the garage which is really a drinks fridge and a must needed extra freezer threw the towel in so I went online to buy a replacement. It had to have a generous freezer for its size and the Mitsubishi ticked that box. Good price and looks good, probably too good for a garage fridge. The crisper is a tad awkward to pull out and I could do with a light in the freezer; old one had one, but just being picky. Good fridge. Would recommend appliance AND Appliancesonline. They came when they said they would, it was on back order but communication was great. They removed old fridge too.

Just bought this fridge. I would have given it 5 stars all around if it wasnt for the hassle it has been. I love the design ( could have done a few things better), but not the operation. I really wanted to love this fridge and I am hoping I will in time, but right now I cant see that happening. From the start of using the fridge I felt it wasnt getting the food cold enough. I tried different setting but it was hard to get it just right. I ended up buying a standing thermometer to measure the temp and it ranged from 5.6 to 9 degrees.I ended up having a technician come out today. He measured the cold water I had in my fridge with a submersible thermometer which ended up reading it at 8 degress odd.So they adjusted the sensors in the fridge saying it should be more ... MoreJust bought this fridge. So lets see?!I did have the fridge get to 3 and 4 degrees on occasion but it just seems its mostly around the 5.6 and up. Temp just doesnt seem.to stay consistent for too long? Maybe its the new "inverter" technology..I dont know?..anyway so far Im not sold on it and that's disappointing.

It’s a fridge and it works like a fridge with no bells and whistles and no mechanical issues. Basic cold-colder dial with no temperature indications for what that means. The lighting is too dim and there is no light at all in the freezer section. Not a flexible layout, one large floppy drawer for vegetables and upper deli drawer can’t be seen without kneeling down. Glitter finish on the black model is a bit 90’s. I bought the fridge for the short height with large volume, which it has. Otherwise I would not have bought this fridge.

During the past decade, I've owned 3 Mitsubishi fridges; all have been top performers. This model is truly incredible: it cools to perfection. Compared to other major fridge players, Mitsubishi fridges beats them all hands down. I recently tried Samsung, Mitsubishi left it in the dust. I will only buy Mitsubishi fridges in future.
Overall very happy. Freezer has lots of room. Big disappointment is that shelves are not adjustable and only have 10 cm between them. Can’t even stand a beer bottle up or sauce bottle. I was devastated when I found this. I thought that was normal to have adjusting shelves. Other than that happy with everything else.
I'll start by saying that the Appliances Online delivery process was seamless. They turned up on time, were friendly and efficient and removed all the packaging and my old fridge with a smile on their faces. Both the delivery guys were big units themselves and managed to do all this via my steep driveway without even breaking a sweat.I've had this fridge a week now and here are my findings so far:Pros- Build quality looks and feels very good.- The ice bucket is very large and with 3 ice trays and makes creating storing lots of ice much easier than most fridges of this size. Great for people like me who likes lots of ice in my drinks.- The fridge operates quietly. A gentle and consistent background hum. Great for people like me who likes lots of ice in my drinks.- The fridge operates quietly. A gentle and consistent background hum. My last fridge (Electrolux) was generally quiet but not consistently. It would gurgle, pop and fizz at random times which was not appreciated in the middle of the night when all is quiet in the house.- Simple old-school temp controls (dials) for fridge and freezer. You can't get a digital reading for the exact temps like some units, however if that's not important to you, having no electronic/digital panel is one less thing to go wrong.- Cooling temp throughout the fridge seems even and well-balanced. No signs of extra cold spots or partial freezing of items against the back walls/corners.Cons- Shelving flexibility inside the fridge is very limited. Why they didn't add a few more shelf brackets into the moulding of the plastic liner in the fridge when designing this is anyone's guess. It would've made a huge difference to the usability of the fridge at very little additional manufacturing cost I would imagine.- The lighting inside the fridge is like an old-school 80's unit. Very dull lighting made even worse once the fridge is well stocked. The freezer has no light at all however given it's up high and is smaller, the kitchen ceiling lighting overcomes that for me.- The stainless steel finish on the doors marks very easily compared to the stainless steel finish on my previous (Electrolux) unit which kept a much cleaner look for longer. All in all I am happy with this purchase so far. I like its consistent quietness and am hoping its simplicity and build quality provides me longer term value that my last fridge did whose compressor failed one year after the extended 5 year warranty I purchased with it expired.
We received one of these last week. It was one of the few sizeable fridges that would fit in our kitchen nook. Very pleased with it. It is so quiet we barely realise it's on. Compressor kicks in and the most you hear is a very light hum. The fridge and freezer section temp controls are analog dials. Used a fridge thermometer to set them up and it's rock steady in both compartments. Also, very even temperature all over the fridge compartment. No temperature variation from top to bottom. The door holds a considerable amount of bottles and drinks and the egg trays at the top are handy. The only minor grumble is we wish the lighting inside was better. It's a bit dim. And considering that the fridge is very deep you reach a long way back to find and get things. Wish there was more height flexibility for the shelves. but the one shelf that folds in half is great for tall items. Freezer compartment is spacious and the twist ice-trays work great. Build quality is typical Mitsubishi - superb. Happy with this unit.
Great fridge. Very quiet. heaps of shelving and storage. In both fridge (+fridge door) and freezer.I did a lot of research and couldn't quite reconcile with all the exxy french door fridges with all their water + ice contraptions that take up a lot of fridge space and doors that are up to 300mm thick and need large spaces to fit in. Being a tall fridge access to the fridge on lower half is easy.I also don't get having the freezer on the bottom as in reality you have get on ur knees all the time to get anything from those types of fridges - Not so with the black beast you can access most all of the shelves whilst standing as it is so tall.It is real fridge with out all the blingy bells and whistles, that suits a busy family of four, we load it up each week with ... MoreGreat fridge. There is no light in the freezer. We've only had it one month so i cannot comment on power consumption to date. but it did get four stars. It was a close call between this and the Samsung 628L. But the there was more storage shelves in the Mitsubishi especially on the door. The Samsung seriously lacked storage on the door - and no place for eggs(if u keep em in the fridge)
I wanted the largest fridge i could get through the doorway of an old farmhouse and i got it. Very happy - spacious, easy to clean and manage. So far, it is doing th job very well. Appliances Online delivered quickly and efficiently. This is the third time i have purchased through this company and i will continue to do so. Highly recommended.
Although I liked some of the qualities of this fridge, there were 2 things that made it completely unusable. The light in the fridge consists of 2 LED lights at the BACK of the main compartment. It is totally too dark to read labels on items or see anything on the lower shelf. We actually had a service call logged and the technician agreed it was incredibly bad. As well, the veggie compartment is really difficult to pull out and back in as it isn't on any type of shelf. I would not recommend this fridge. AO was fantastic and arranged for a swap to a Samsung fridge that we really like.
