Wood is raw, not polished, oiled or lacquered. Draw gets caught as poorly cut and measured. Looks like it's not a finished product.

Very easy to assemble, only need to attach the legs. Very simple design, but a great little product for the price. Perfect for a small 'working from home' space.

Came with holes pre-drilled in the wrong places and instructions that weren't in English but was pretty self explanatory. Very much a solid three stars - does what it says, it's a desk.

I brought this for my grandaughter, it is a perfect size.It was simple to put together. Only issue was that the instructions were in language.

A nice simple table for a small space. The table top had some sticky marks on top when opened. There was a sharp bit of plywood sticking out underneath the drawer. Doesn't affect the use but was worried about catching my skin on it. So I've had to cover the piece using a hot glue gun. The instructions were all in Mandarin and there was no English PDF to download on website. Luckily it was easy enough to put together without them.

Great basic office/study desk, looks stylish and fits great into small nooks or corners in a room. The only downside is the drawers, they constantly pop out of the grooves when sliding in or out, and subsequently become jammed quite often.

Just arrived and unpacked. Very surprised at poor quality of finish on timber, edges very rough and will require sanding and timber surface is very raw, no seal applied. Timber drawer runners very rough also and do not glide smoothly. Also, no English flatpack instructions given.

This desk is simple and it was just what we were looking for. The material is laminated rather than timber, which is to be expected from a desk at this price point. Time will tell how robust and durable it is. For now, it suits our needs perfectly as an occasional-use desk in our spare room.

As I constructed this desk, the lower my hopes fell. I've purchased from Temple and Webster before and I've always been pleased with the quality of their items. For example, a bed frame I purchased was solidly constructed and made out of beautiful light wood and I naively expected this desk would be as well.The box the desk arrived in came with no Temple and Webster branding. The desk was very easy to construct but the wood is of extremely poor quality. I think the light unvarnished wood legs and drawers with the plastic veneer top looks odd and cheap. And finally, the fully constructed desks shakes and wobbles and the desk legs do not seem to be of the exact same lengths so I have had to add padding under one of the legs. Certainly not the "stable" frame promised on the website. I think the general design gist of the desk is lovely but it has been executed extremely poorly.I understand that this is a cheap furniture item but for $160 I did expect at least solid construction and a better-looking desktop. The pictures on the website were extremely misleading and the lighting used suggests that the whole desk would look consistent and succinct in terms of wood types. I'm extremely disappointed in this item and I feel like there was no quality control in adding this to the Temple and Webster shop. After many good experiences with Temple and Webster for myself and family members, this experience will certainly make me question purchasing from Temple and Webster again. I would advise people to not purchase this desk and instead get a cheaper product from Ikea because at least the quality is consistent. If I choose to resell this desk second-hand, it will mean I have to resell it for less. Overall, I'm disappointed in this desk and I wish that at least it was slightly more aesthetically pleasing. Next time, I won't be purchasing a furniture item online without it having more reviews.

Perfect desk for small space. Creates an inspiring workspace, helps minimise clutter and looks great in an open space living area. The assembly was super easy, the quality is great for its purpose.
