I've used this product for many years. I use it on wooden plaques. I apply paper images onto the plaques with the mod podge and then mod podge over it all. I glue ribbon and hemp cording on the plaque for a frame. I make little crosses out of hemp and mod podge them and they stay nice and firm. This product holds up for 10+ years. It doesn't discolor and it looks as good as when its first applied. You should know that when you first apply it, it is opaque looking, but it dries clear. Also, rotate gently to mix it so you don't get air bubbles. Thank you, Michaels, for selling a great product!

Mod Podge has been around forever, and rightly so. I remember using this stuff growing up, in art class and such. A friend suggested I made a craft for her and the only item I thought to use to make it was Mod Podge. And you know, the items came out so well, I made a ton more. Someone suggested I sell them, which I am thinking of doingâŚbut first I have to buy a HUGE amount of mod Podge. And frankly, who has the time. So, Iâll make some items here and there, and either sell them or give them awayâŚand have some fun with it. It dries brilliantly clear and looks almost like glass. I love mod Podge. And that is Godâs honest truth.

I am absolutely obsessed with this matte mod podge!! I use it for so many things, from making homemade magnets with calendar clippings for Holidays/salt dough ornaments it goes over acrylic paint effortlessly, it seals our painted rocks for hiding on walking trails,it pairs well with napkin art when applied to wood, metal ect.. I use it for sealing puzzles as well that our family builds together for framing, and for keep sake photo gifts for family members. The possibilities are endless. As a homeschooling mom we are constantly reaching for this throughout the week as the projects are endless! Never disappointed when using this product, when we need amazing results we never skip corners!
I never worked with Mod patch before, but this is my first time . I tried on fabric and paper . I used it as a glue as well as clear finish . I really liked how fabric turned out to be on my box project . Fabric look like a âexpensive leatherâ wrapped box . Paper does look like a cheap paper wraps. However, if I decide to use photographic images on the box or any other product / project ; this is a product Iâm going to use . I put 4 stars on this product mainly based how long it takes to dry. It takes a bit of a time for it to dry / glue . I am constantly needed to come back and reattach my âpodged gluedâ corners . There is other glues could be used a lot more easier . However, The outcome of found in combination of Mod pudge and fabric : itâs extremely attractive ... MoreI never worked with Mod patch before, but this is my first time . Mod-Podge is a reliable all-round useful adhesive and surface protectant. I've used it for decorating-- gluing fabric to surfaces from cardboard to metal. I've used it for collage work in art classes. It can be used for protecting natural items that tend to "shed," such as driftwood and shells. I prefer the matte finish because it doesn't reflect much light.
They shipped this in an envelope so it leaked all over. Shipping was delayed. By the time I got it, it was squished and was oozing glue. I have no choice but to use it since I'm already late on the project because the glue was delayed. It was kept at a facility longer than it should have for "security" reasons. I assume it was because it smelled like chemicals.Of course not only did it waste product but the glue is now chunky which means it's going to be a nightmare trying to get it nice and even on my project. Super irritated, but I have no choice but to suck it up.
I have never sealed a puzzle before, after I put one together, until recently. My daughter gave me a Nativity scene puzzle before Christmas & I did not put it together until January of this year. It was so beautiful that I had to seal it & have it framed. An associate at Michaelâs suggested Mod Podge to seal it with & it is beautiful, I would highly recommend using this to everyone. It was so easy & turned out beautiful!
I bought this because the acrylic spray finishers were too expensive and I just needed it for a one-off project. If you apply it in thin layers, it will dry to the touch quickly. I applied this on an air dry clay sculpture that was painted with acrylics. I applied about 3 coats, one per day. It's been about 6 days since the last coat. Yesterday, the surface was very slightly tacky when picked up. Today, it seems to be dry. Note that this takes 2 months to cure completely.
I love using mod podge! I make cosplay costumes and props and After Iâve made the items, I need to seal them. I almost always put 2-4 coats of mod podge all over the item and l it dry. I can then sand it to make it really smooth. It helps cover any blemishes or cracks where the adhesive I use to glue pieces together which gives it a lot more of a professional look. I like the fact that itâs non toxic and it cleans up really well. After I have finished with the mod podge, Iâll spray some plasti-dip on to give the item even more protection and then Iâll start the painting process. I highly recommend this product and Iâll continue to buy it
