My 11 year old daughter just recently started her period and as she swims competitively and trains 4 times a week. I was worrying about how we were going to juggle training and galas around periods. She was a definite NO for using tampons and her swim coach recommended these . They fit perfectly under her swim wear and give her the confidence to continue. My only criticism if any is that I wish there were available for heavy flow for complete peace of mind at present we are having to change mid session into another pair for complete confidence when she has a heavy flow and for when out the water a lot waiting for races. Please can these be available for all flows.

They fitted well (size 12-14 youth) and she found them really comfy and most importantly no leaks or spotting on the hotels white beach towels! They look just like normal bikini bottoms and she wore them on their own mixing and matching her bikini tops. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Perfect fitting for my ASD almost 11 year old (she is a size 10 in ladies clothes) They look just like bikini bottoms, wouldn’t have known any different! The absorbent part is super discrete and not bulky at all, didn’t cause her any distress (sensory wise) and enabled her to swim in holiday. She loved them so much, we are now looking to replace her cloth pad collection, with period underwear. My only one little gripe would be the price, I just feel they are a tad expensive for growing bodies, she probably won’t get next summer out of them.

In all honesty I was mortified at the cost of these, who were recommended to me by another mum for swimming lessons.... HOWEVER my teenage daughter who suffers awful on her periods was due on for our holiday this summer. I am eating my words, these allowed her to join in swimming and she spent her full period swimming and on the beach with the family. WELL WORTH EVERY PENNY. I have already told all my friends with younger girls.
I bought this for my 14 year old daughter in case she had her period whilst we were on holiday allowing her to still use the pool or go into the sea. Fortunately her period started before we left the UK so by the time we were abroad she wasn't heavy. These were such a wonderful comfort for her and allowed her to continue to have fun in the water. She was so pleased as was I. She could wear them under her bikinis, sometimes you could see them but she still felt confident. My only request would be that a bikini brief for a heavier flow is created to allow for the first few days of a period. All round great product, thanks Modibodi.
My 13 year old daughter has recently started having heavy periods and unfortunately her period arrived a day before our beach holiday in France. Luckily we'd just bought these bikini bottoms, and also the black swimsuit, and it's no exaggeration to say that they saved the holiday for her. She wore the swimsuit or bottoms (with a regular bikini top) for several hours every day, including swimming in the sea and sitting on the beach, and never had any leaks or stains showing. When rinsed later on, plenty came out, so they'd clearly done a good job. The bikini bottoms fit perfectly (we measured her and followed the sizing guidelines) and went well with her existing purple bikini top - delighted with the purchase overall.
Bought these for my 10 year old as her period was due 3 days into our holiday. I was a it wary when she went into the pool with them but she was nothing to worry about, in and out the pool all morning not a single leak. We went to the sea on the afternoon and then back to the pool again no leaks, once we had finished I washed them out in the sink and could see they had worked. I don’t know how but they are amazing and really saved our girls holiday didn’t stop her enjoying herself so if you are big dubious just go for it they are brilliant

Bought for my 12 year old for our recent holiday. It was perfect, she could swim and sunbath without any worries. (She was on the last 3 days of her peroid, not very heavy). I was a little sceptical but I couldn't fault the bottoms at all. She said they were very comfortable aswell. She wore them with her own top, as the bikini bottoms were the only thing available in her size. She plans to wear them under her swimsuit, if needed, now that we are home.
