Since 2011, I have not noticed any fluctuation in paper style. In this current book, my ink bleeds through, (I used to be able to write on each side of the page), the paper seems silkier and has less weight. I compared it to an older book that I am not quite finished with--I am using the same ink, the same pen, and the ink does not bleed through, and there is more "tooth" to that paper.I have done a "Google search" seeing if other people are experiencing the same frustration. I wrote to Moleskine and there is a generic answer to the question, "Have you changed the paper?" Their answer is understandable (each production of paper is unique based on the temperature and the climate of the day that paper is made) but it does not solve my problem.I want the product to be consistent which is why I chose Moleskine over other brands. When you love paper and pens and ink as much as i do, you notice these little things. It is like getting a haircut and having a few pieces of hair not falling just right. It is bothersome and frustrating like a mosquito bite.I am going to finish up the book I am currently using (bleeding and slick) but i will probably not purchase these Moleskine Cashier books any longer. I will find another brand or make my own.

I always use Moleskeine. If I could offer one suggestion, as well as square graphpaper versions, a hexagonal graph-paper version would be invaluable to chemists. A few years ago such paper was only sold for use in role-playing games such as Warhammer but now I notice that many, man companies are offering it to chemists. the quality is low and it;s either loose-leaf or soft-bound. An A4 or A3 hardback would, I believe (with appropriate ads) sell a huge number of units.

I use Moleskine journals exclusively//daily and am so happy that Blick always has them in stock. The weight of the paper is perfect for writing, collaging, and doodling making these perfect for multimedia artists or just journaling. I wish Blick offered a wider selection of colors, but this is great!! #sweepstakes
