Moleskine is my favorite notebook. I use this notebook for writing poetry and for coursework. The paper is think and rich, the binding it solid and never breaks. The notebook comes in many different sizes and is easy to transport. Out of all the notebooks I have used, this one is my absolute favorite one. Love this product.

These notebooks are a little on the expensive side but their color options and durability keep me coming back for new ones. The binding is tight and I’ve never had issues with any of the paper falling out. Some of them have a pocket where you can keep receipts or tickets or whatever else you may want to keep. This size is perfect for me, cost 24$, and is acid free.

An excellent container for all half-scrabbled ideas, inspirations, and artistic spoutings. I sometimes feel as if all my life’s work has come to fruition on these pages. The missing two stars are for the unfortunate fact that this journal is addicted to getting itself lost. I haven’t been sure how to address the problem. It’s like having a toddler in the house, always getting into shenanigans and making my heart drop with fear every two minutes. Classic Extra Large Soft Cover Notebook Plain / Hydrangea Blue

I love these plain unlined large notebooks for writing and design sketch work. I just bought this one in store at Carlton and had a great chat with the lovely salesperson about how happy I was to have a pretty new colour to sit alongside but distinct from the many previous Moleskine notebooks I have already filled!The paper is good quality, thick enough to not damage the side behind it and lovely to write on.

Great product I just wished they made 100% cotton versions

The price is average but the quality is great, it is nicely assembled and glued. The journals lasts for a long time. The paper for the sketchbook is smooth yet soft at the same time, which means that graphite really penetrates into the paper. Inks and fountain pens also work nice on the paper, the ink does not go through unless you add a lot with a brush(in that case buy the watercolor version). The tone is warm white, leaning towards a khaki color which means that if you take it outside it will not hurt or tire your eyes under direct sunlight. Conte and charcoal work really nice but add fixative unless you want your conte or charcoal drawings to smear. This ones are 25% cotton and the rest is wood pulp acid free paper, which means it will not yellow over time but cotton is better as it can last longer. Perhaps the cotton version would be called Art Journal.

High-Quality Notebook

This high-quality notebook is great for taking notes on the go, keeping track of to-dos, ideas, and reminders, journaling, or any other writing you may need to do. The notebook is well made to withstand daily use. It has a marker ribbon and an elastic outer band attached to the back cover that runs lengthwise. This may be used to keep the notebook closed when not in use or as a second page marker. It really is a 5 star item but the elastic band on the one I got seemed to be a little weak, like an old rubber band that has lost some of its elasticity and doesnt snap back sharply. I would have preferred a band with a little more life and pop, but this could just be the one I got. I cant say this is a characteristic of them all.

Not worth the tree its printed on

It’s a beautiful notebook, the cover is beautiful and strong. But the paper isn’t worth the tree it’s printed on and I really mean any, I tried three different pens is visible straight through it. If you write harder then a feather it indents the pages behind it. Honestly just not worth it at all.

The only diary for me!

Obviously because it's a diary for 2024 I haven't used it yet. It's put away until Christmas. But it's the only diary for me as I just love the format.I put bullet points at the top of each page and brief notes/appointments on the daily portions. Using the lined page opposite for more details.The price keeps going up as it does for most things but because it's a diary it's easy to calculate the cost per week and it's so worth the cost.

You get what you pay for - paper perfection

Expensive - particularly when there are cheap alternatives. But once you’ve tried one everything else seems rubbish. Thin smooth paper that will never let the ink show through to the other side, pages sit open beautifully. I prefer the soft cover, the pliability feels good - some flexibility when held although still quite firm. There’s a sturdy paper ‘wallet’ at the back to keep loose pieces of paper. Can’t fault them - notebook perfection
