The lens is amazing and takes full advantage of the main camera of my iPhone Pro. The shots are not as wide as the built-in ultrawide lens in the iPhone but the quality of detailing in each shot is way better. Definitely a great buy for the iPhone! Only downside is that the iPhone keeps shifting to a different camera randomly and doesn't stay on the main camera after fitting this lens. I'm not sure why but it's a minor glitch.

T-series 18mm is large compared to previous versions. The build quality feels the same.In my specimen the mounting is a bit smoother than in M-series. M felt tighter.Mounted on iPhone 15 pro with 24mm, the 18mm performs perfectly albeit the âeffectâ is a bit more conservative compared to older iPhone 12 pro 26mm with M-series 18mm attached.You would expect that, of course.With iPhone the T-series 18mm fills the gap perfectly when shooting indoors where you might need both the wider lens and better low light performance.

I was waiting for this shipment to be delivered ASAP to enhance my iPhone camera game! but unfortunately, it turned into a big disappointmentthe photos are soft and blurry as if you have a mist filter! I guess it's not made for the newer phonesthe focus was struggling !the stock camera is way sharper and better than the moment lens (58mm)I've been using Moment products for the longest! amazing ND filters for both my cameras and phones but the lens was not up to the same standardThe only reason I added an extra star was for the build quality

I will start off by saying that the construction of the lens is great (five stars), and that some of the tradeoffs are things I should have thought about more before buying. But, in case helpful to others, I wanted to post my use case. I purchased this for taking travel and landscape photos on an iPhone SE, which does not have an iPhone lens. For this use case, I would recommend just saving your money and using it to either upgrade to a multiple-lens phone, or buying a dedicated camera. Yes, both of those cost more than this lens does, but I think they are also much more utilitarian.This seems like a great product for 2016. I also use it for video/vlogging inside my car for a cool wide perspective that looks better than my GoPro footage. If you purchase Moment lenses and are reading this review, I also highly recommend the Moment App so that you can indicate what lens you have on (for anamorphic it automatically de squeezes your shots which is awesome) and the app lets you control focus and brightness independently of each other, as well as slow down your shutter speed for interesting light trails and other effects. The native iPhone camera app does not allow you to do this, Moments app gives you much more control overall. Even if you donât have the lenses it will give you room to tweak and experiment - and you pay once, unlike FilmicPro which charges $2.99 per week đ. Buy these lenses! Theyâre amazing!
Clarity: Itâs true, what they say about Sun flares and light spots that travel with video footage, but the quality of the video footage delivered by the Moment 18mm wide is beautiful.Sharpness: I tried it outside and inside during the day, then took it to a Christmas light show at night. It preformed flawlessly at night. The flares werenât produced by the Christmas light show, the sharpness in all three environments was superb.Design: The design of this lens is worthy of awards. I almost hate to suggest any sort of a change to the design. Itâs top notch, but I just wonder if the design could somehow encompass a lens hood that could reduce the flaring a bit? Other than that.. the lens is perfect in every way.
Right out of the box it's a beauty to look at. then you mount it on and see an immediate difference. No regrets. I'm new to intentional mobile photography and want to better at it. Not necessary to start a blog or anything but just so someday when my kids needs photos of life growing up, I can proudly submit beautiful images that may look professional but were taken by rookie me and having quality products like these help me achieve that.
Never received lens cap therefore never used since not protected in transit. Placed and paid for complete order. 3 months later, still missing 1 lens, 2 lens caps and cine filter for phone cover. (wrong cine filter sent) Returned all the order received thus far since unable to use and questioned the quality control as well as charging for full order when not completed months later. Awaiting refund at this time.

I guarantee you will be pleased with your results using any Moment lens, but especially the 18mm as it's a more well rounded wide angle.You do have to get the Moment case that fits your specific smartphone. For the iPhone 12 series they have gone to a new clip-in lens mount format. The older phone cases have the lens mounts built in. One thing you have to know is that you can't use the flash while using the lenses. But with the enhanced night mode on most newer smartphones these days that shouldn't be a major issue.No question, these lenses aren't the cheapest on the market. But there is a good reason for that ... they are, in my opinion, simply the best. I know a lot of professionals use them and the results my son has gotten for his schools projects have gotten him praises from classmates and teachers alike. You won't be disappointed with Moment lenses and in fact will be very surprised at the results you get by using them.
