Purchased February 2022 and now on track for 1000+ mile yearFar more fun than I anticipated Raised my "average" speed from 12.5 mph to 15.5 mph (max so far 39.9) You don't need a front shock with big balloon tires! I run 50 psi front 55 rear7 speed "internal" rear hub is corrosion resistant and low maintenanceA full charge will outlast me, I haven't gone through one yetLike the mid drive, great 6-sensor + firmware controls Yamaha 60Nm power assist to 28 mph

This bike is not only comfortable and upright but the quality of the ride and components are outstanding. When you ride on uneven terrain or sand the bike is very stable and you always feel in control. The drivetrain is so smooth, you will fall in love with it

This is my first ebike, and was swayed to the transend+ mens bike by the quality makers parts used in its construction. I am a 71yo male and use this for exercise, a quick run to the shops or catch up with some friends for a coffee. I like its power delivery and those options and have learnt that the "auto" funciton is pretty good at delivering just the right amount LOL. I have changed the seat, put on a rear rack, clip on light and taillight to compliment its usefulness...... one of its main drawbacks is that it will disengage the gearing after stopping peddling so that when you start to peddle again it just spins for a fair distance, this can be quite dangerous as I have since discovered (if you are going across a busy road and find you have no peddle power to ... MoreThis is my first ebike, and was swayed to the transend+ mens bike by the quality makers parts used in its construction. I used this bike to commute both to work and class for years. I flew past every other bike on the road and didn't look back. Not only is it a blast on the street, but I thoroughly enjoyed a lot of gentle trail riding too. Never thought I'd have this much fun on a bike again.
Had the bike for 3 months. Used exclusively on paved roads and paved bike trails. Steering tube snapped while biking causing a crash. Took my to my dealer and they were told that they don't have replacement forks. No other options, no replacement bike, no time frame, nothing. Will never buy from a company with such poor customer support.Do NOT buy this bike!! There are better options for less money out there for sure.
We got 2 of these for our Grand Tour of the US in an RV. We have owned a lot of bikes over the years including Schwinn and Trek but wanted e-bikes for extended commuter range and city tours. These Momentum E+ are just brilliant. Excellent balance, confidence inspiring shifter and brakes, intuitive controls. They look good, feel good, and will take you long distances leaving you refreshed and smiling when you arrive.
I am using this bike as my primary transportation around the city. It goes super fast and is just an amazing machine--smooth, effortless, never gives me any problems. However, I am unable to find a front rack for it! Which is such a shame because I would really like to mount a a little basket up there, since I was depending on this bike for making trips to the grocery store.... :(
I like to refer to it as a Smart Bike. The responsiveness of the pedal assist combined with long battery life make this E-bike an absolute front runner. Easy to ride, power when needed, and great stopping power. There are 5 pedal assist modes and I've been riding on power assist 2 in gear 4 and 5 and for about 40 miles and I still have half the battery life left. The tires are great on pavement or the rail trails. Not designed for mountain biking. Its a rigid frame and the saddle and ride are good. I will probably change my seat post to a suspension seat post. Shifting the bike is smooth. Gears are in the rear hub and when changing gears, a quick momentary lapse in pedaling ensures a smooth gear change. The Yamaha motor is working flawless and this E-bike is equipped ... MoreI like to refer to it as a Smart Bike. Its a Class 3 but getting it to 28 mph is not easy. It performs great at the 15 mph range. The bike without the battery is about 48 pounds and the battery itself is in the neighborhood of 10 pounds. A bicycle vehicle rack will most likely need a tray that hold 60 pounds per tray for 120 pounds. Extremely happy with this E-bike and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone shopping for one. My wife rides a Trek Verve +2 electric bike and although I think its a great bike, this Momentum Transcend, in my opinion is one notch above it.
I have been riding bikes for 50 plus years. I finally decided on an e-bike. My regular bike dealer sold me on this one. And I am overjoyed. I can easily go 40 to 50 miles, and the last 5 miles are easy as I put the power on high. No faiigue here. But a great workout every time. The bike is sturdy, steady but easy to ride. The seat is unusually comfortable. This one can hit 30 MPH. I have hit that # several times downhill and can easily hit a consistent 24-25 MPH on a level road.
I bought this bike for exercise purposes. I have ridden quite a bit since April of this year. Trails, street, etc. All of the rides were smooth and the bike was easy to pedal. I learned so much from YouTube videos and the bike shop owner here in southern WV, USA. Had a heart attack Sept 2021 and never thought I would get back on a bike. This bike has performed as advertised so I would recommend this bike to anyone who asks.
