This monitor makes my gaming setup! The build quality and panel is great! Display works with USB-C for 240Hz if you dont have a display port like my laptop! Only slight downside is when wall mounting due to the angoe of the moniotr back meant i uad to get 24mm bolts to secure the top part of my mount! The invluded desk mount is a good option however not needed in my case. Overall super happy with the monitor! Bought on saoe though as better alternatives for pess money if not in sale!

So far I have been very impressed with this monitor. It's large, fast, compatible with lots of hardware and despite the edge backlight very even. For PC gaming, this monitor being 1440p pairs especially well with high-end graphics cards. I've got a 3080, and most top-end games still can't run at decent framerates at 4k with all the options on, so I ended up dropping to 1440p anyway to be playable in a lot of games. Stack in HDR and GSync, and you have a very pleasant gaming experience. As a Mac monitor, the USB-C connectivity is great - it's a single cable connection that allows you to use you keyboard, mouse, audio and video - just plug it in and off you go. It's no ProRes 5k, but as a basic workstation monitor it more than suffices and has good enough color accuracy to do a decent job as a pro monitor as well. To make both of those options even better, the monitor has a built-in KVM switch. Just plug your keyboard and mouse into the monitor, the supplied USB-B cable into your PC, and the supplied USB-C cable into your Mac, and you can swap between them with a flick of the monitor joystick control. There's also PIP and PBP modes so you can have both up at once if you need to. Lastly, the two HDMI 2.1 inputs work perfectly with modern consoles. Both the PS5 and Xbox Series X - just plug in and go (the XBox will run at 120hz 1080p (downscaled), 1440p (native), or 4k (via interpolation), the PS5 will only do 120hz 1080p or 4k). Both consoles work with VRR and HDR as well, although the monitor does lack Dolby Vision. You can play the audio out via the built-in jacks on the monitor, which is a problem with trying to use consoles on a lot of gaming monitors without sound. Speaking of the audio, I have issues with mine. There are two output jacks on the montor, a line out and a headphone out, and I cannot get the headphone out to work. The line out works fine, but there isn't a quick access feature to get to the volume on it, only for the headphone out. The headphone out is listed as "usb audio", but there is no usb audio device on the PC, just a USB device that isn't recognized by either the PC or Mac (and no drivers for it on the Gigiabyte site). I suspect there is a problem in the device firmware, but I am running the latest version so there's no fix available. I can use the onboard displayport/HDMI audio out via the line out setting, so I am not completely out of luck, but for the money I paid I would expect at least expect the basic advertised features to work as intended. I guess that my only real complaint outside of the audio is the price point. On sale, it's a great monitor, but if you are looking at or near MSRP, I would keep saving for something with FALD, or better yet a mini/microLED, OLED or QDOLED monitor. If you are already spending nearly a thousand dollars, you may as well spend another couple hundred and get all the bells and whistles instead of just most of them. That being said, if you can get one of these for under $800 and don't want to spend more, you won't regret buying this one, especially if you want to connect a lot of various kinds of devices.
I still think my monitor have some hidden defects as price was very good, but didn't found any, I'm very happy
I can’t profess to being any kind of tech expert so this is a base judgement only. Looks great, has all the features I need, and the picture quality is fantastic to my eyes
