Too many rules to follow. Plus need to move bowser and your token. There’s rules for bowser when he lands on a spot, then rules for you when you land on a space. Then side rules to battle bowser that may be against another token. The Mushroom token rolls when you put it on the board. Not flat to stay still. Also you need to keep track of flipping the Title deed cards when bowser lands on a location. Dice are small. Very complicated.

We were so excited to get this new Super Mario Bros movie edition! We are huge Mario fans and this game is a lot of fun. I will say, it's a little complicated with all the rules surrounding playing with Bowser, but we kind of just made our owe rules with him that works for us. Also, I feel the character pieces are pretty lightweight and was hoping for better quality. We still love the game though and it's a lot of fun despite that. The game board looks awesome!

I am very disappointed with the Monopoly The Super Mario Bros. Movie Edition game. I was expecting this to be monopoly but it’s not. It comes with punch out card board coins, a cardboard punch out of Bowser with plastic stand, deck of cards and 6 cheaply made plastic tokens. The game is very complicated with crazy rules. You have to keep looking at the instructions to folllow. I think Hasbro should think about quality rather than cheap quality. I absolutely do not recommend!

Very fun family board game. We played as family last night. We thought it was going to be a fast game over but it wasn't it kept on going. I was the first one out. Lost all my coins 🪙. Cute board design. Moving pieces could have been better. They had no color and gray. Mario's hat could have been red, peaches crown gold and so on. But it was a fun game.
I really enjoyed playing Monopoly the super Mario bros. movie game. Monopoly has always been a family favorite so it's nice that they have different boards. The only thing that I wish was different is the player pieces. I think they should be characters and not items but other than that this is a great Monopoly game.
My oldest son and I saw the Super Mario Bros. Movie the day it came out. It was so awesome that we were excited to get to play the Monopoly Super Mario Bros. Movie edition. It was fun for the most part, but took a long time to play. There are 1 and 5 cent coins in place of cash. I found that to be easier to manage. You can buy properties, but Bowser can "game over" them (even ones you own if you didn't own all of the properties of a certain color) when he lands on them. It was confusing as to if you had to pay just the amount to continue the property after a "game over" when you wanted to purchase it or the continue amount AND the purchase amount. The directions were unclear. The properties were all places found in the movie. The game pieces were iffy. There is a ... MoreMy oldest son and I saw the Super Mario Bros. Movie the day it came out. The directions were unclear. The properties were all places found in the movie. The game pieces were iffy. There is a mushroom, a Mario hat, a barrel and a few other boring items. The pieces could be better for sure. There are two different dice used in the game. You roll the black one for Bowser to move and the red one for your token on each turn. We listened music from the Super Mario Bros. Movie Soundtrack as we played which made it more fun.
I am so glad I got Monopoly Super Mario Bros. Movie Edition. As a family, we love playing board games, but regular Monopoly tends to take much too long for my younger kids. This game, however, is much more their pace. We are huge Mario fans, so the board and all of the pieces were visually appealing to us all. We all enjoyed the game, from my youngest, who is 7, to my oldest, who is 16. This is a game for everyone! The game pieces were super cute, although, I would have much preferred them to be metal, and not plastic. The mushroom game piece had a hard time staying in place, as the bottom is just slightly rounded, so anytime that piece was moved, it tended to roll off the board. The mushroom game piece had a hard time staying in place, as the bottom is just slightly rounded, so anytime that piece was moved, it tended to roll off the board. While I found the idea of using coins fitting for the theme, and cute, my kids did complain that they would prefer the paper money instead. I will also note that it did take us a while to get used to the game, as there are a ton of rules to remember, especially with having to play as Bowser as well. But, once we got the hang of it, it was pretty easy, and we just sort of made our own rules to what we found worked best for us. All-in-all, I think this Monopoly game is our favorite version so far (and we've played many of them!), and I am so glad I got this. I highly recommend this to any Monopoly and Mario fans. I don't think you'll regret it!
We love and collect different pop culture Monopoly games and being a Gen X-er, this one was a must! The tokens were adorable - the mushroom was definitely my favorite. The play pieces were plastic instead of the standard metal so that was a bit disappointing. I feel like Hasbro cheaped out a bit when making it, especially in comparison to the other games. But we still enjoyed it :)
I’m glad I got the Monopoly The Super Mario Bros. Movie Edition. My son played it with a friend and enjoyed it. The board was typically made; it was visually pleasing. The game pieces were fun, but it’d be cooler if they weee made of metal and not plastic. While the coins were a cool idea considering it’s Mario, that’s the one thing my son did not like. He said the took up too much space and we’re cardboard instead of plastic. He would rather just have the paper money back.
I didn't have particularly high expectations for this film, but when I saw it on opening day I was blown away by how incredible it was. The Super Mario IP was handled with such caring and thoughtfulness that anyone can enjoy this movie, big fan or otherwise. The voice acting was spectacular, I especially liked Jack Black as Bowser and Charlie Day as Luigi, and the animation was just gorgeous! What a treat for the eyes and the soul!Oh, and the soundtrack too- what a score! Hearing orchestrated versions of many iconic Mario tunes in a theater was so surreal. My hat is off to you, Brian Taylor.Just an all around incredible film- I'd recommend it to almost anyone! I simply adore it.have not bought the product it looks okay
