I bought this cable to replace my existing 25 year old cable assuming that the new one would improve the picture quality. The picture quality remained exactly the same. Seems the dual layered shielding and gold plated connections didn't make any difference. Of course that doesn't mean that the new cable doesn't work because it does and performs exactly as it is supposed to. Given that this cable is a little expensive, it would probably have been better if I had just kept using the old antenna cable or even one of the other old cables sitting in a box somewhere.

Thats good for my new TV.
