It really doesn’t taste like anything. The strawberry flavor is practically nonexistent. I’ve had worse. But this not all that good. At best it’s palatable.
Taste: This has a nice slight sweet taste without being too overpowering. It's subtle and yummy if you like strawberry flavoring. The drink itself is slightly fizz but has a smooth mouth feel. Best served cold to get that "light" taste feeling.Smell: Has a scent of sweet citrus.Can durability: Slightly thinner than an on brand Dr. Pepper can, but it's perfectly suitable to drink out of. The tops and bottoms have much thicker metal to prevent denting I'm guessing, these would be perfect cans for crushing. My guess is these would ship well under normal temperatures.Packaging: Super cute design, tons of detail, subtle pink glitter, the designs are embossed to add dimension, they chose a great color design.Effectiveness: For me this is less jittery than coffee, ... MoreTaste: This has a nice slight sweet taste without being too overpowering. I still notice some looser stool about 30min after drinking, thats pretty standard for stimulants. If you don't have a tolerance at all to caffiene you'd probably want to start at 1/4 the can, wait 20 min and see how you feel adding more incrementally as needed. If you've got a tolerance, start with 1 can and repeat steps as needed.
Obviously flavor is highly subjective, but I found that while the strawberry candy flavor of this was good, the 'artificial sweetener' aftertaste was more noticeable in this than other sugar free Monsters; saying that even as someone who has been acclimated to that aftertaste for several diabetic years now. Still, it doesn't make it gross - *to me*. Might be something to keep in mind if you're sensitive to that.
The taste is similar to some sort of candy.. maybe like those strawberry hard candies with the wrappers that look like strawberries? It’s delicious when cold. Once it gets room temperature then it’s not as great, but I find that all drinks are best when cold lol. Anyways, it’s definitely worth a try if you like fruity drinks! I’ve bought quite a few of these since it arrived to my workplace lol.
Absolutely my favorite monster that has zero sugar. I used to have the white monster flavor of the zero sugar as my favorite drink til I tried this one and the strawberry flavor changed that now it’s my favorite and I get one all the time I go to Walmart. It’s got a very sweet taste %26 you can’t even tell it has zero sugar. I give this drink a 10/10 because it taste great! Try one today you won’t be disappointed! (:
