This is a very good scent for daily use. It won't get you the compliments from everyone but you will get compliments from most people. I like the scent very much, but since I have so many other Parfums that are more elegant and sexy, I would not rate too high, but high enough to have in your collection for every day use. It's worth the purchase at the price that My Perfume Shop sells it for.

I personally love this fragrance. It holds onto my skin with 4 sprays for over 12 hours. It has great projection for the first two hours and still does well after that. It smells very similar to my club de nuit but has a less harsh opening. I would pick explorer over club de nuit for that reason alone. It's a compliment king. Out of all of my fragrances I really think I would pick this over all of them, though it's a hard toss up bc I love sauvage edt. Blind buy this scent it's worth it.

This is going to be my new winter scent. Smells extremely similar to aventus but with a bit more musky wood note. My fiance' likes this more than aventus and I kind of agree. Aventus smells more "high quality" but is brighter smelling than explorer. I really like the extra touch of warm woodiness of this. And for the price difference you can't go wrong.

Smells really like Aventus but has a little bit of a metallic vibe in it in the mid. The longevity is insanely 12+ hrs! Got instantly compliment from my mother when I first sprayed this on my skin, she even wanted to have some because it's that good! Just be careful not to over spray because it can be off putting in some cases.Don't hesitate to blind buy! It's worth every penny. ♥️
This is a fragrance that I did not like initially when I first tested it from a sample I got from Macy's. I had trouble deciding if I liked it or not. After a few wears I've grown to appreciate it more and more, and I see myself wearing it probably more than my a few of my favorite others in my collection (ie. The One by D&G). Colognes like this has me excited to get to know other fragrances that I don't fall in love with right away, but can get to know over time. I just got into collecting fragrances as a new hobby or whatever. But this is a good buy, I would recommend and I would buy again.
Dior savage less then half the price. Not a clone it's lighter but has great longevity 4-8 hours. Can reapply after worn down and still not to over powering unlike how savage feels when reapplying. Absolutely love this.
Mont Blanc Explorer is a masculine definition in a bottle. My Perfume Shop provided an authentic product that I would recommend anyone to buy.People say that its a clone of Creed Aventus. Just bought this fragrance. First sprayed the air to smell the opening. Nice opening similar to Creed adventus. Once the dry down happen for my skin my first impression is I was in a damp wood mossy area. I wore it to work and spray about 6 times..1 chest, both sides of the neck and the back area and two on my t-shirt. Drove to work (30 minutes) and the smell was faint. Not overpowering. A few people could smell it at an arm lengths away. After 2 hours the sillage was gone. At the 8 hour mark no smell at all on the skin. I noticed that's after that first two hours the smell slowly getting faint.Must say I was disappointed in performance and longevity. Great little gift, perfect as a stocking filler for a weekend away. Trio of gorgeous smelling products from mont blanc. Love the packaging with a tin that can be used for bits and bobs later. Only negative is mine didn't come with drawstring gift bag to keep together but products were beautifully wrapped in tissue paper inside the tin although I've not opened that with it being a gift but can smell the gorgeous scent as soon as I opened the tin. Would recommend.
STOP THE ANALYTICS OF IT! gents, this is a superhero of an Aventus by Creed alternative. I appreciate other reviewers wanting to ostentatiously flaunt their aficionado of a nose, while turning it up on this. However, if you love Aventus enough to own the original (I do), but can not afford to wear it as often as you would like, buy this. It is like meeting that twin, who is an identical, but enough subtle personality diffrence that you know them apart when you focus. I (and my wallet) are so glad to have found it. At Masonic meetings, its Creed Aventus, but if I want its basic profile for the day, its Explorer by Mont blanc.
