I work in ink and liquid acrylic glazing a lot so was setting up tables and moving the painting from easel to table or floor.The tilting easel allows me to keep the painting secured on the easel and adjust the angle from vertical to flat quickly.It handles a reasonable size and has reliable height and angle locks.The castors are big enough to pivot and run easily do i can have several containers of liquid paint on the studio bench and work from that point rotating the canvas on the flat. High quality, great engineering, really good price - it was somewhat larger than I expected but that was my fault for not checking measurements!

Great easel, solid and easy enough to assemble. I'm really happy that it holds a huge canvas. Only downside is that the holder has an edge to that blocks a small section of the canvas out. Generally great for the price though.

This Easel is fantastic and highly recommend.When building it you need to look very closely at the instructions so put on your spectacles or bring out a magnifying glass so you can put it together correctly the first time. I only had one misstep and had to swing apart around after closer inspection of the instructions. When together it is made of quality materials and looks great!
Very high quality and easy to build. I am amazed by how organised the parts were packed, with clear labels sticked to each parts and protective sleeves for the wooden parts. I was able to follow the instructions very easily because of that, and did not have to worry/guess which parts the instruction were referring to. All I had to do was pick the correct parts according to its label, and build. The whole process took me roughly 2 hours and I had a lot of fun doing it because it’s so straightforward and my room smelled like wood in the end.The easel itself is very sturdy, and can fit huge canvases. I love how flexible it is with angle and sizes and it’s just so beautiful to look at. This easel has transformed the way I use my studio space. I use it a lot as a horizontal table as well as a traditional easel. For drip work it’s so convenient to lie the painting flat to stops the drips, then tilt to continue them further.You do need a large area to put it together, using a drill makes the job faster, but take your time as there are a lot of steps in the build process.Well worth it and good value - Naomi Crowther.
I'm a professional artist, and this is my dream easel... usually a very expensive item, the cheaper ones being far too flimsy, but this big beast ticks all the boxes for paintings large or small. Sturdy, easily adjustable and the bonus is the ability to lay it flat. Highly recommend this item!
Well it arrived, and for a wonderful price too! Unpacking I was impressed to find each set of pieces encased in its own sock to protect the lovely beechwood. Assembling was a little challenging as the stickers numbering the packets had largely come off, but not a biggie. The photos could be a lot clearer as I had to redo the frame three times. But, this is a lovely piece, when not in use it stores horizontally under a shelf, alternatively fully erect it stores against the wall. The easel box is big enough to hold plenty of gear in both vertical and horizontal modes. As a Watercolourist, I can tilt to any degree to encourage "mingling".
