Please be aware that the itmes sold in this auction in my opinion are not original Montblanc writing instruments. I bided on one and at arrival what I got was a sratched imitation very different to what is described. No box, no certificate just an imitation in a bubble wrap. Returning it today.

I received this pen as a graduation gift 25 years ago, and its appearance is no different as when it was new. It has also appreciated four-fold, which is very surprising! I prefer the fine point refill, which writes very smoothly and lasts a long time, as expected. The cushioned box is very high quality, and the outside resembles leather. Instruction manual and warranty booklet are also very rich-looking.

The Montblanc Meisterstück ballpoint is an excellent writing instrument! Its aesthetic and elegance cannot be ignored as it conveys a statement of class. Its writing performance is smooth and it makes writing superbly enjoyable. I like it so much I purchased an additional Montblanc Meisterstück rollerball. With proper care and maintenance it will last decades as I still have my original one that I purchased in 1992 from the military exchange. I honestly highly recommend it.
The way this pen glides across paper with only minute amounts of felt friction,just enought feed back from the paper to remind myself that im writing. The pens balance and ink flow allow me to "open up my grip on the pen" And not hold it so tight. The ink meets the paper smooth,smooth flow with no dry spots in the ink/paper interface. Love this pen it costs more than a disposible ball point,but if you write with a meisterstruct you will know where those extra dollars went!
i have used a Montblanc ballpoint pen for going on 45 years, the main reason is the size of the pen. if you have large hand they are easy to hold and use for extended time.People notice your pen and like the feel when they use it.
