the stand for the claravox centennial theremin is a necessity as other generic mic stands and camera tripods don't really work 100%. however when mine came, one leg wouldn't seat right in the frame. the other 2 legs clicked in perfectly. I had to ease in the other leg and it's still not perfect but the weight of the theremin seems to be holding it stable. but for the price it does seem a little basic. however it does finish off the look and functionality of the instrument so it is a necessary evil. Thats probably why they can justify such a high price.
