This hair oil is freaking amazing. Every time I use it, my hair is so incredibly shiny with a reflective glossiness. My hair also looks much better when I use this hair oil before straightening with a flat iron. Even the texture is completely different! It feels like silk. For real. There is no frizz at all. It's how I have always wanted my hair to look; healthy, shimmering, and with a fine texture. I have also noticed that my hair color looks so much better when I use this; I can see all of the rich tones mixed throughout my dark brown hair. The only downside is that the price is a little more than I'd like! I also wish it was found in more stores rather than having to order it online every time. Otherwise, this hair oil is absolutely perfect!

I absolutely love the shine this product gives my clients and myself. It’s has the scent of Moroccanoil products we’ve grown to love. It is sprayed in a light fashion to give a beautiful shine to the hair. Keep a light hand at the root area, as it can weigh the hair down. My only complaint (and has been for a while) is the nozzle doesn’t always work. To avoid this, spray a small amount in your hands, rub together, and distribute from mid shaft to ends. This will avoid area of the hair getting too much of a mist, or not enough, and will add a beautiful shine and smell.

I am obsessed!!! I add this after I've done my styling to my hair and then do a quick run through with it in my hair (whether I'm styling wet or dry) and it just adds such a healthy shine to it. It also makes it so nice to run my fingers through my hair. Tames the frizz that I have that's normally so uncontrollable. Treat yourself to this. Especially when it's on sale. The scent is pleasant like the rest of their line (not heavy or overbearing) and the bottle lasts! Nice hair spray that doesn't leave a film on your hair. I was worried it would leave my hair feeling sticky or with a thick coating, but it didn't. The smell is nice and not overwhelming. I actually find it fades quickly unless you heap it on. Overall I like it and would purchase again

Depends on your hair type

This worked absolutely wonderful on my mums hair, she has thick coarse naturally red hair, very curly and immediately when sprayed on it was unbelievably shiny and in a healthy way not a gross way. For me however, I have thin auburn hair, only wavy and just a lot of it and I found it didn’t work for me how it did for her. For me Evo and Matrix make better shine sprays.

It works

The instructions say to spray on dry hair. I have no idea what happens if you do that. I spray it on my hair right after I get out of the shower. My hair usually gets frizzy in humidity, not with this! It actually sets my hair to look like the women from the 1940's! I've always wanted that hair and have never been able to get it. with this all I have to do is spray it on my wet hair and it gets that style on its own. The only thing I have to complain about is I wish the sprayer was better quality. The pump doesn't spring back like it should. I shouldn't have to pull it up manually. Especially since it's so expensive.

Liquid shine in a bottle

Absolutely divine product. Smells amazing, makes my hair shine like nothing else and feels softer too! Initially upon application, I did panic as I didn’t realise what proportion of the spray was oil and thought I put too much on, the spray nozzle moved a bit so it was hard to target where I wanted to spray. So I worried I’d completely undone the purpose of washing my hair. But after a short while, it dried in without weighing down my hair and to good effect! I will definitely be buying again.

Lovely lighter oil

I'm a fan of Moroccan oil products already and this is a really nice and light alternative to the heavier oils. It gives the hair a wonderful sheen with the signature amazing smell. I personally prefer to spray 1-2 pumps into the palms of my hands and apply that way as you get better distribution and are less likely to end up with an oily patch on a particular section of hair. Would re-purchase.

More Hydration Than Shine

Very hydrating. The spray application is great for curly locks. However, this is more hydration than it is shine. “Glimmer shine” is misleading as it feels more like a leave in oil than a shine spray.As other reviewers have noted, this can get greasy/heavy on fine hair.

THIS WORKS FOR INSTANT SHINE!

Use a single spray in places you want your hair to shine! I use it after I set my hairstyle with the Moroccan Oil Luminous strong hairspray first. Don't keep spraying Glimmer Shine over and over in the same spot or it will be too much - just once in each "zone" of hair does the trick. I found that if I try to comb/brush it afterwards, it will look oily and wet. So I just spray it and leave it alone to shine!
