I’ve never tried a product like this before. I thought why would I add more oil to my scalp? But then I remembered, it’s the same with face moisturizer. An unexpected winner!

I have fine, thin hair that gets oily very quickly - like 20 hours after washing. I have tried to train it to acclimate to less frequent washings and have used dry shampoo to manage oiliness but ultimately, I have oily hair. I’ll admit I was a little skeptical of this scalp treatment but after a week of use I am convinced! I use a few droppers full on wet scalp/hair before washing. It doesn’t feel like much of anything - not heavy or oily - though it does include argan oil. I can smell the ginger root but it isn’t overpowering and I don’t smell it on my hair after washing. The first thing I noticed was how smooth and soft my hair felt. It definitely reduced frizz. After a couple of uses I have noticed that my hair is much less oily when I wake up in the morning. Effective scalp treatment

This treatment is very easy to use and very effective. I shake the bottle and part my hair into sections and apply 3-6 drops into each section of my hair and massage it gently into my scalp. I then leave it on for about 5-10 minutes and comb it through my hair and rinse. I then follow with my regular washing and conditioning my hair. My scalp tends to get oily, itchy and has buildup that makes my hair look dull. This treatment really helps to control the oil, grease and residue. My hair looks clean, healthy, soft and shiny and my scalp feels clean and moisturized. I love that it is so easy to implement this treatment into my hair care routine. Highly recommend this treatment when you have oily scalp.

First of all, let me start by saying I have VERY oily roots. I get oily the day after washing my hair and usually have to wash it everyday or every other day (not good i know but i can’t stand being greasy). I also have dry ends to make things worse. When I tried this, my scalp felt really fresh and my roots were voluminous and full. It was easy to use and didn’t feel heavy at all. Felt super nice and cooling. I did not really notice a significant change in oiliness though. I still got fairly oily the next day but that could just be that i’m too oily? I don’t know. I tried several scalps balancing products and I must say that I like this pre-cleansing treatment. It takes five-minute to use this treatment before shampooing. This treatment is infused with a powerful blend of natural ingredients and essential oils such as the including ginger root, lavender, and argan oil. All these ingredients purify and detoxify impurities and help promote scalp stimulation. I like how it makes my scalp feel during the scalp massage and the aroma is also very pleasant. It has a botanical fragrance. I wanted to use it at least a few times before writing my review, and I can see a slight improvement in my scalp.

The Best Products I've Used for my Thin Fine Hair

I have struggled with hair confidence my entire life. I have average hair, but overall it is thin and fine and prone to damaged ends even without coloring. My biggest struggle though has always been that I have almost no natural volume and very straight smooth textured hair, which makes styling a nightmare, For the longest time I showered and blow-dried and curled and teased every single day. For the last 4 years or so I've been washing my hair at most once a week using high quality products but I still struggled with heavy roots and oily scalp and difficulty adding texture without damaging my hair more. A year and a half ago I read somewhere that extra hydration and more focus on my scalp/roots could help me in my specific situation as maybe my hair is overproducing what I'm not giving it enough of and I decided to try Moroccan Oil products. The Moisture Repair shampoo and conditioner felt great and definitely made my hair and scalp feel healthier, but after I tried the REPAIR PRODUCT TRIO and paired it with the OILY SCALP TREATMENT I noticed the most difference and long term results for a little bit of natural volume without over-drying my scalp and recovery/repair for my ends and part line areas where I tease most often. If you're new to the products I recommend ordering a variety of the travel sizes and trying them a few weeks at a time to decide what works best for you without feeling wasteful of your money/products or getting discouraged if one particular set doesn't seem right. I did this with the Moisture Repair, Hydrating, and Extra Volume sets before finally trying the Repair products and I couldn't be happier. I will add that because my hair is so fine and absorbs water/products so well, I have chosen to only use the restoring hair mask about once or twice a month as it makes my hair feel incredible but adds a little weight to the ends which affects my ability to get added volume without additional teasing.

saved my scalp

I’ve been struggling with an itchy and oily scalp (but no dandruff) on and off for years. This is one of the rare scalp treatments that actually cater to oily scalp and it really works well, plus it’s easy to use. My scalp is less oily on the second day, and the itch has stopped completely. It only took about 3-4 uses to start feeling the effects. The only downside is that this bottle finishes a lot faster than you’d think: half the bottle was gone with less than 2 months of use. I used it about 1-2 times a week when I first got it, but reduced it to once when the itch stopped. Although it’s expensive, I will continue to use it because so far nothing else has gotten close to giving the results that this gives.
