However being an oil its going to take me a very long time since you only need a tiny bit. I will only use this once in a great while when I want my hair to look its best. I just wore it to a wedding after not using it for 2 months and my hair was fine. I personally stay away from silicone because i have curly hair and my hair does better without those type of ingredients. As long as you aren't using it daily or regularly I think it's fine.

It did nothing at all to change the condition of my hair. I have worked hard on restoring my hair’s health. Though this product was for me a waste of money (and it isn’t cheap!), I was able to help myself by massaging simple canola oil into my hair and scalp a couple of times per week, by cutting off the frazzled ends and reducing my shampooing to not more than once weekly, and by lowering the temperature of my heat tools, which I also only use once weekly. Compared to Kerastase or Opalex hair oils, I have noticed that this Moroccanoil oil seems to last longer - I currently am on day 3 of my hair and applied a nickle-sized amount of this oil once before I blow-dried my hair on day 1, and my ends are still silky smooth & I have not had to reapply. Whereas when I have used Kerastase or Opalex hair oils in the past, I've had to apply them 1-2x daily to continuously see results. This product also makes my hair feel clean after use - with other hair oils, my hair has felt like it has a residue on it. Overall, this is a great product for those wanting to help revitalize their dry winter hair.
