Be careful what you use it for

I was looking for a new flat topped Kabuki brush and I find Morphe brushes to be excellent quality so couldn't help but pick this up.The bristles are extremely soft, but the brush itself is dense, so it provides the perfect stiffness required for blending in face products but does not feel harsh on the skin. It is also un-ruined by the cleaning process which I find to be a massive plus from Morphe brushes in generalHowever, I have found that I need to be careful which products I use with this. It really doesn't work well with more viscous/liquid type products as I find it soaks up too much product and leaves little on the face. That being said, really don't use it with tinted moisturisers either!

I only had this brush for a couple of weeks, and only used it a handful of times. At first I loved how it blended my makeup. Then one day the bristles sunk into the handle of the brush which was strange. I tried pulling them back out only for the entire brush head to come out. I have had brushes for years that never did anything like that.

Disappointing!

I had only used it a handful of times with liquid foundation, and the bristles basically retracted back into the brush after cleaning. I'm not sure what's happened, but it's now unusable. I was excited to try this brush as it had so many positive reviews and seemed like a high-quality product, but unfortunately not for me.

Great Brush at a Great Price
23 March 2020

Ok, I've been hatin' on Morphe for a while now. Ever since I bought a palette that I threw straight into the trash I thought our relationship was over. But I recently bought an eyebrow brush and an eyeshadow brush and was really impressed by the quality given that the price was so reasonable. So I took a chance on this brush hoping that the quality would be just as great as the two I'd just bought. Well I wasn't disappointed. This brush is amazing given that it's only $17 (Canadian). The weight is nice in your hand and it isn't too big. The bristles are soft and feel nice on your face. Most importantly, it applies foundation beautifully. I haven't tried it with powder but I imagine it would work just as well. Morphe and I can now be friends again.

Horrible brush!
12 April 2022

Purchased this brush which I was told was a good foundation brush only for it to completely fall apart once I cleaned it. The hair part completely come out of the handle!! I was shocked! This was my second brush purchased my first brush was discontinued so I settled for what a sale associate recommended. I was very disappointed to say the least! Brushes are not the same as before. Not worth what I paid for.

Impressed
4 March 2021

Purchased on a whim. I use a skin tint and only tried a few brushes, a couple by IT cosmetics. I generally just use my fingers for application because I haven't found a brush I like. But this one is winner. It doesn't soak up my skin tint leaving me with wasted product! Unbelievable. Leaves no streaks, blends out and buffs evenly. And my skin tint is actually on my face, not the brush! I really had given up on brushes for skin tint until now. For me, much better performance than the IT brush. And the price!

Morphe girl forever now!
30 April 2022

I was looking for a dupe of my higher end buffing brush and the associate at Ulta recommended this one. I'm so glad I took her advice. I LOVE this brush. It actually puts my former(and very expensive) brush to shame. Blends my liquid foundation flawlessly and I now keep it with me in my bag wherever I go. Gives the perfect airbrush, no-filter look. And it's soooo soft! I'm always impressed with Morphe products and I think they may have won me over for good with this one. Great quality makeup and tools for an amazing price. I'm investing in all the Morphe brushes to replace my old brand. And I've purchased 3 Morphe eyeshadow palettes in the past month that are GORGEOUS! You can't beat this brand. I only wish I had the money back I've spent on higher priced, lesser ... MoreI was looking for a dupe of my higher end buffing brush and the associate at Ulta recommended this one. The only brush I'll use for foundation
29 January 2023

I was a Beauty Blender girl for the longest time until I discovered this brush. No streaking, my foundation melts into my skin and lasts all day. I have purchased it several times, not because it doesn't last, but I wanted extras just in case.

I really tried to give ghis brish a try but ot hurt so bad to use on my face. I had been eyeing the sigma F80 but was waiting in a sale. Low snd behold, i run into thos brush at ulta snd thought to myself "this looks identical, might be worth the purchase" well after a month of trying it, i returmed it. The bristles are too stiff and it hurts to use on my face. A brish shouldnt itch your fave either. Save your money on this brush and try another brush like the morphe m439 or sigma F80

the bristles are coming out

Maybe most of these are fine, and I just got a defective one, but this thing is falling apart after gentle use and 2 washes. I've had it for 3-ish months, and I didn't use it very often; I just wanted to have a flat-top duo fiber kabuki on hand. I liked it fine at first, but now the bristles are just sliding right out of the brush. I noticed when some appeared to come loose and be dislodged when I swirled it with average pressure on a t-shirt to clean it (I use cinema secrets for brush cleaning). They seriously just slide right out. After cleaning, noticing, and investigating, I realized the brush was continually shedding and therefore unusable, and just decided to see if (as I suspected) I could just grab anywhere at the brush and pull out pinchfulls at a time with ... MoreMaybe most of these are fine, and I just got a defective one, but this thing is falling apart after gentle use and 2 washes. They seriously just slide right out. After cleaning, noticing, and investigating, I realized the brush was continually shedding and therefore unusable, and just decided to see if (as I suspected) I could just grab anywhere at the brush and pull out pinchfulls at a time with ease, and, yup. It's not a few loose hairs, it's the whole thing. Now that I think back, I do think this brush shed a bristle or two onto my face during makeup application, and since it was just one or two bristles at a time, and I didn't use it every day, I just brushed it off as a fluke without thinking too much. I am kind of a makeup brush junkie and I have never once had this issue before with a brush; I don't think it's that I treated it too roughly or any other kind of user error. Given the positive reviews, I doubt every single one of these brushes has this issue, but since I do see complaints of shedding in the reviews for pretty much this whole Morphe 'M' line, I suspect that my experience isn't a fluke, and that this issue probably impacts enough of these brushes that I wouldn't reccomend taking your chances and purchasing.
