I purchased the entire Quadlock Pro system (including the vibration dampner) for my Suzuki DL650 V-Strom. I wrongly assumed it would protect my iphone (11 PRO Max) since they show iphone on their product pages.My camera was destroyed on my first ride with the Quadlock.I contacted customer service and they asked me to send them pictures of my installed mount and a sample video from my damaged phone. I’ve been using RAM mounts for a long time on my bike and have been seeing the ads for Quadlock system for years. After getting an iPhone I was made aware of the camera sensor issue that could come from the vibrations. I felt like I was being forced to switch to this system after finding out about the vibration dampener. Well, after getting the products in my hands and setting them up and using them, I have to say I am completely convinced. The quality is too notch. They’ve really thought this through and I am very happy with the mechanism and various accessories that come with it. Even down to the tripod! I also noticed not all MagSafe chargers work with the mag case, 80% do and the rest don’t. I think it has to do with certain chargers not being strong enough with slightly added thickness of the case. No way to find out until you try so that is a bit annoying. I just installed the stem mount pro on my 2006 Yamaha FZ6 with some modification to make it work. I have yet to drive with it since there’s still snow on the ground but I have no doubts about it. The quality is great and the iPhone case is solid. I feel completely safe with riding and my phone being held in by this mount. I am a little disappointed that I can’t use the poncho and a screen protector at the same time but it makes sense as to why they both don’t really work together. I am very happy with everything and I’ve even purchased more from quad lock because of it. I am using motorcycle mount with wireless charging for about 2-3 weeks now. It’s so much better from any other mount like X Ram or smaller manufacturers’ I used to use.First of all, it’s super convenient and attaching phone is much easier and quicker. It is not so easy as shown in videos, and you will find it nearly impossible to do it one-handed with wireless charger - but it still takes like 1-2 seconds.Wireless charger is absolutely best accessory you can get, it’s so awesome to forget about messing around with the cable. Charging is a lot slower than cable or any other wireless charger though. So i ordered a motor-bike pro mount, iPhone Mag case, Mag wireless charging mount, vibration dampener and some colored accessories. As space on the R Ninet’s handlebar is limited, one of the best options is to fix the mount close to the handlebar’s mid section. To be able to have a clear view on both meters and also be able to turn the key, i mounted the phone sideways which works perfect for me (only for Waze/Google Maps/Flitsmeister navigation) Next i will attach a Mag wireless charging mount to my car. So back to Verizon for a new premium $40 Zagg glass screen protector.That fixed the touchscreen, but I still had the “clumsy” feel of the phone case. So I used the exacto knife to cut out the touchscreen area of the poncho. Now I have the “grippy” feel of the poncho, and can actually use the phone. So now I’m discovering the rubber camera protector part of the poncho, on the back of the phone, is getting scratched and distorting my pictures. I’ll probably have to cut that out next. Then I’ll just have a rubbery, flimsy (basically a loose rubber band) wrapped around a clumsy feeling (but very expensive) phone case. If I wasn’t already $200 into it, (or could go back in time) I would go with a different handlebar mount system.

This was something I enjoyed about the Rokform. Lastly, the case is very basic and smooth, and I like it, but added design on ergonomics would be a nice luxury. Overall, I recommend buying this product to save some money, protect your phone, and to have the ability to add extra features like wireless charging and added environmental protection while in more extreme environments. Being able to buy a basic package and later upgrade it is a huge benefit as well.
The Quad lock mount and phone case are excellent.I had some difficulty in fitting the handle bar mount to my bike (Kawasaki Z900RS) as the handle bar tube differs in diameter over its length. The final (only) mounting position, slightly obscures the speedo display, but not too muchThe only negative comment I have is on the iPhone 7 Plus weather cover. It is not clear plastic, but slightly opaque. This makes it difficult to read the phone display in sunlight (with sun visor)It also did not total prevent water ingress during heavy rain.Overall I am pleased with my purchase of the quad lock, but would like the rain cover to be more effective.
I bought a handlebar mount, a vibration damper, a waterproof magnetic charge head and a USB charger. There is no way to bolt this lot together with the supplied hardware. It appears I have to buy more bolts. That's OK, but then, having already spent almost £200, I now have to pay extra for shipping of the bolts. Why was this not explained when I bought the whole shebang. I could easily have added the bolts to the order and been able to bolt it all together. So far, my complaints to QuadLock customer service have been answered by folks who clearly don't understand my version of the English language. 'Do it like this' they say. I'm trying, believe me, but there is not a bolt long enough with any of the bits I ordered and I am still waiting to get it all fitted. I’ve spent the money to have this problem solved because I trusted quad locks claims and I’ll be spending the money to have this phone repaired now. I emailed customer support about my experience and received a reply that I would be hearing from them within 48 hours. 5 days later I’ve still heard nothing.
