Simply a great product. For almost three years now I have been riding motorcycles almost every single day. Having a phone mount it's definitely necessary and let me tell you I have tried so many of them. This one by far is the best one I have ever seen. It's definitely not perfect, but when it comes to performance and quality it's just the best I've ever seen.I know it may seem a little expensive at first, but it's definitely worth it. I have had phones fall out out my mount in the middle of the highway and it's no fun at all. With this mount you will definitely feel good when going at high speed or over rough terrain. The only thing I wish they would change is the mount mechanism. If they can create something that doesn't require getting a full case for you phone ... MoreSimply a great product. For almost three years now I have been riding motorcycles almost every single day. I’ve had hundreds (probably) of bike mounts and bike cases. Finally gave in to Quad Lock and reckon it’s now the best of the best! Great locking mechanism for a phone mount finally! Only prob.... phone doesn’t respond to Poncho with a glass screen protector. My remedy... sacrifice my old iPhone 8plus as bike computer minus screen protector and tether it to my new iPhone 12pro. Using old tech rather than throwing away and if I’m unfortunate enough to get robbed, my good phone stays hidden! Genius!!!! Also, the Moto mounts are particularly better for bicycles if you use cockpit extensions such as the Thorn accessory bar as they are 22mm and the Moto mounts are a tad more adjustable which is definitely worth the extra tenner over the bicycle ones. This is my 2nd kit, which I bought for a 2nd bike. I really like Quad Lock phone mounts for motorcycles. Lots of adjustability and good quality. I use the handlebar clamp mount and the kit comes with all of the diameter adjustment I’ve needed. My only complaint is that my original phone case developed a defect after a year, BUT Quad Lock promptly replaced it under warranty for me! This is a well thought out system and allows you to mount your phone on a motorbike, bicycle, and/or car. Great Stuff!

I have been using the office stand with the wireless charger in the office and the marine base (rectangle 2-hole) with the dual pivot arm for my F150 truck. The windshield is too far and the dashboard doesn’t have a flat enough surface at the areas, where the phone may sit to avoid getting pulled over by CA law enforcement. I wish Quadlock had a system for pickup trucks that doesn’t require to drill holes in the dashboard.Pro: really very practical method of attaching the phone to the different heads. It is good quality material and provides the best ergonomics I have had so far.Con: At first touch the iPhone case felt very slippery but after a few days it provides an ok grip. I hope that Quadlock will improve this.I will install the Moto Mount Kit this weekend ... MoreI have been using the office stand with the wireless charger in the office and the marine base (rectangle 2-hole) with the dual pivot arm for my F150 truck. I purchased several mounts. Suction cup mount with a charger which falls off most of the time, adhesive mount with a charger that comes off when you hit a severe enough bump, and a bicycle mount which is decent and holds the phone in place. I also purchased a blue ring that goes on my I phone case that comes off in my pocket and a rain guard for the I phone which is great for protection from rain but makes it extremely hard to use due to the thickness of the case. It is not sensitive at all. Overall, I have spent probably $250 on cell phone mounts that aren’t that great.
I love this set up! I was looking for a safe, secure option to attach my iPhone 12 Pro Max to my Honda Trail 125 and this was the perfect match! The cover fits my phone perfectly, the arm provides a super secure attachment to my trail bike handlebars, and the locking mechanism makes it easy to lock and unlock my phone from the bike. I did purchase the optional rain/weather cover and vibration dampener and highly recommend both. I primarily ride this bike on dirt road and bumpy trails and this set up works perfectly, giving me the confidence my phone will stay in place without worry. Did I mention I love this set up?!?! :-)
It is a great system that works well. I just dislike that I have to also buy accessories like the ring stand. And also that the anti vibration isn’t already a feature at the price we are paying. I would give 5 stars if anti vibration and a ring/stand were already included on the $130 piece of plastic.
Seems a really well designed and made piece of kit that I found easy to fit. You'll need to experiment with positioning a bit to find the best location to fit so that the phone screen is easy to view. Latching the phone securely is a bit awkward at first as you have to align everything up correctly and push the phone into the mount at the same time, but you can't do it wrong and it soon becomes easy with practice. Once locked in it seems really secure and the locking system means it can't really be accidentally unlocked in use.I did have some concerns about vibration in use possibly damaging the phone, especially on my Yamaha twin, but the mount and the phone case seem to do a good job of isolating the phone from vibration. There are discount codes available, but it's still a pricey system.
The Quad lock mount and phone case are excellent.I had some difficulty in fitting the handle bar mount to my bike (Kawasaki Z900RS) as the handle bar tube differs in diameter over its length. The final (only) mounting position, slightly obscures the speedo display, but not too muchThe only negative comment I have is on the iPhone 7 Plus weather cover. It is not clear plastic, but slightly opaque. This makes it difficult to read the phone display in sunlight (with sun visor)It also did not total prevent water ingress during heavy rain.Overall I am pleased with my purchase of the quad lock, but would like the rain cover to be more effective.
Doesn’t quite fit our bikes without the viewing angle being “off.” If mounted all the way up to the clutch grip it’s close, but mounting there forces you to take your eyes off the road to view the gps on your phone. I much prefer it to be in my line of road sight for safety. The kit as is lacks the swivel ability of other phone mounts that allow for anywhere placement. I ordered 2 handlebar Moto mount bases in enough time for an upcoming road trip, but will now need to switch to a ram mount ball base, I also found an additional knuckle buried on the website and ordered that as well to try to fix the angle issue with the handlebar mount. The bikes in question are a Yamaha Royal Star, Indian scout, and out of curiosity it kinda fits semi usable on my Ducati Scrambler, ... MoreDoesn’t quite fit our bikes without the viewing angle being “off.” If mounted all the way up to the clutch grip it’s close, but mounting there forces you to take your eyes off the road to view the gps on your phone. Either way, the new mounts won’t be here in time, so bummer. One additional knuckle (individually priced at $10) should be included in each handlebar kit in my opinion. If that even fixes the viewing angle issue. The cases are nice, that coming from someone that doesn’t usually use a case. The system is otherwise very sturdy.
