Excellent phone. The response is snappy either in 4G or 5G modes. The screen colours are as good as the top-tier phones. Pleasure to have a light phone that can fit your trouser pockets without buldging out, or pulling your trousers down! The phone camera is more than acceptable. A power adaptor and bud-style wired headphones are included. Its a complete package!The only downside is that the included silicon case is very basic and is not a 100% perfect fit, and finding other cases and glass protectors is difficult.

I have to say, ever since A13 upgrade, I love my moto edge 30 so much better than my iPhone 14 pro in many ways and how stable it has been is unbelievable. I had edge 2022 which had MTK processor which was not all that stable but with QC, this product has been rock solid so far. I use this phone more than my iPhone 14 for following reasons: 1) It's really slim and light. Weighs less than 1/2 of my iPhone. 2) it is the right size screen, for me to enjoy videos and read my emails. 3) despite how hard it is for me to get screen protector for curved screen, but I love the way it looks and feels. 4) wireless connectivity is superb compared to my iPhone. I get wifi and cellular connection where iPhone does not. Great lightweight device with beautiful screen. Slips easily into pocket, feels great in the hand. Cameras are your standard mobile cameras, they're all adequate. "portrait" mode photos are awful no thanks to skin smoothing but that's not device specific. I'm impressed it captures HDR10 4k video thanks to its snappy Snapdragon chip. Runs stock android with some additional Motorola goodness like gestures to easily start up the camera with a twist of the wrist. A highlight is the ability to connect to PC to use phone as a webcam, or easily operate the phone on the pc (or use the phone as a mini computer plugged into a screen, woah). Fast charging is delightfully useful, and battery lasts more than a day for me.
I have only had the phone for a short time. Photos are a good quality in my opinion. Phone is easy to setup and use. Every phone I have I always wish there were more ring tone or alarm options. The only thing that I regularly use on my old Samsung was notes. Motorola does not have this function but apparently can download some Google version but reviews weren't positive so trying to adapt without notes. The text messages only have a little dot along side to indicate new unread message. Would have preferred it was bold until read. The charger is a quite large. Charges quickly. You do get a pair of headphones with the phone and phone has capacity for two sims Overall I am happy with my new Motorola Edge 30 Fusion.
Mid range phones in this price bracket have gotten much better and it's so competitive now. Purchased the Moto Edge 30 when it was on sale so my thoughts may be a little bias. Battery life is great, at least 7 hours screen time with great standby time and screen set to auto refresh rate so will certainly hit the 144hz for a great smooth experience, even supports fast charging so can charge 0-100% in about 45 minutes. Camera is great when given enough light though white balance isn't as accurate as Pixel for example. Stereo speakers sound decent especially for watching movies on the large display which is also very nice and bright. No issues with fingerprint scanner, though like many phones just be aware that putting a screen protector on can affect this. Probably would have preferred a flat display instead of curved. Although I'm not a fan of the large size of phones these days, this was one of the smallest I could find from Motorola. Not everyone likes the scent of persistent chemicals, especially those with chemical sensitivity! Even after the full 14-day return period, the smell had still not gone away, and I returned it. The thumb print works randomly. Screen randomly goes black when a call comes in so you have no way to answer it or see who's calling. The search bar and time widget randomly disappear from my home screen. The latter two issues always require restarting the phone to resolve. Various other weird things. My last four phones have been Motorolas and have been great. Until now. Worse luck, I traded my old phone in for this one So I'm stuck with this piece of junk until it self combusts or whatever trick it has up it's sleeve. I've also gone through four screen protectors in the two months I've had this phone. Do the rounded sides make it more susceptible to breaking? I've never gone through that many in the entire life span of my old phones. Just so disappointed. When this one is done I'm going to give it the Office Space printer treatment.
Good Points: Most features are great. I’m not a heavy user therefore the battery lasts a few days for me. Coming with a fast charger it’s not a problem anyway. I haven’t noticed it getting hot during charging either. Camera is superb but have to admit not to taking too many selfies. I don’t leave photos on the phone so storage isn’t an issue. It is very light and sits in my hand nicely, I don’t have big hands.Improvement Points: No wireless charging, no sd card slot.Finger and facial recognition tempromental, which could be down to screen protector or even user error.
Good Points: Have no problems installing anything, The battery is good and lasts quite a while if not using any intense apps, it is really quick to charge, i've not really timed it but i'm sure its less than half an hour when its really low too. Was easy to set up and transfer my apps etc over from my other phone, good size, not to big or to small, or heavy.Improvement Points: Theres no headphone socket which is a bit disappointing as i don't really want to use bluetooth ones. The getting the sim card in can be a little fiddly but its not too bad i've had worse. Also theres no way to put an sd card in for added storage, so have to make do with what it has, although it is quite big at 128gb, so will take some time to fill it if ever.
