I have been impressed with the phone so far after a few days use. It has a clear screen, good, stereo sound quality and long battery life. There are regular Android updates too which my previous phone lacked. I haven't used the camera much but it has a macro lens as well as a standard one. Overall, the phone is excellent value for money.

I was in need of a replacement for my ageing iPhone 6S Plus, which was suffering from erratic battery drain and stuttering performance. The Moto G Pro is the perfect size to feel comfortable in my hand, but still has a sharp and bright full HD screen that's larger than the one on the 6S Plus.I've found the battery will make it through 2 days with frequent use, 3 days with lighter use. It's plenty fast enough in daily use, it streams Netflix etc smoothly and copes easily with the odd game.Call quality is loud and clear. It's an Android One model, so receives guaranteed monthly security updates.I'd rate both the main camera and front 'selfie' camera as better than those on my old iPhone, taking clear, detailed photos and video.Overall, I'd describe the Moto G Pro ... MoreI was in need of a replacement for my ageing iPhone 6S Plus, which was suffering from erratic battery drain and stuttering performance. It's an Android One model, so receives guaranteed monthly security updates.I'd rate both the main camera and front 'selfie' camera as better than those on my old iPhone, taking clear, detailed photos and video.Overall, I'd describe the Moto G Pro as a sensible, user friendly phone - not as ridiculously big as most competitors and no flashy, gimmicky user interface, just a nicely 'stock' Android experience.I'm very pleased with the Moto G Pro.... and all at around a third of the cost of an equivalent new iPhone!

Can't fault this phone for the price they are. Has excellent battery life and signal strength. Pure android is also great with no other manufacture software installed. Can't recommend this phone enough.
The phone that I purchased for my 12yrs old son to use under my At&T plan does not receive calls at all. Why? Well the "Motorola Mobility XT2043-7 6.4'' Moto G Stylus 128GB Unlocked Smartphone Mystic Indigo - US Version" is not capable with the 4 & 5G towers they have in Miami. AT&T have ton down all towers under 4G speed and now my son can only receive text and calls. He can NOT call out. I will be returning this item as soon as I purchase him another phone that actually works!
Alleged improvements in the technology sector are often cosmetic or trivial ("So why would I need to do that?"). However, the various features I found on this Pro model really are great, and I'm delighted. In honesty, I don't totally need the stylus, certainly not day-to-day, but occasions may arise. But otherwise I'm really impressed with the storage (128GB), speed, and battery size/power. I'm quite a light user, and the battery is lasting days, rather than less than a day on previous model; and the turbo-charging is very quick indeed. The camera is terrific, with various settings such as macro, and the ability to turn on the camera simply by twisting your wrist is great for those occasions when you want to take a picture quickly. The camera is terrific, with various settings such as macro, and the ability to turn on the camera simply by twisting your wrist is great for those occasions when you want to take a picture quickly. Some less prominent features are valuable, like a daily background record of how long you've used the phone, and for what, with the possibility of setting a time limit for certain apps - great to keep a grip on Twitter, etc! It's a large screen without being too big to handle, and there is a clear plastic protective case around the body - not enough, maybe, to save it in a serious collision, but still good to grip and to feel safer. All these features for a fraction of the cost of top-range prestige models - as I say, really impressive.
I've been using Motorola's for a few years now, my current one is maybe 3 yes old and is going nowhere anytime soon. This purchase was to update my daughter's phone. It's ideal with the inbuilt stylus for her precision with in-app drawing and the features and technology are matched by some of the so called better models but just at a much better value. There's really no need to pay a fortune with popular phones with a reliable brand as motorola (still obviously popular but without naming names)
Received the phone a few days ago. So far, I love this phone! I have also had an iphone for work before but this is definitely my favourite model. I was going to order a Samsung but decided to go with Motorola as my last Motorola phone lasted me 8 years! Bought it in 2013 so was hard to switch over to another one. Overall I think the underlying technology in this phone is really good to support the features it provides. It is much bigger than my old one but not too big - I am small and still able to hold phone comfortably. Think I might end up watching movies on this phone - the screen quality is great! I also love that it comes with stylus and transparent cover! The only thing John Lewis could improve on this is to send customer details of when phone will be ... MoreReceived the phone a few days ago. I also love that it comes with stylus and transparent cover! The only thing John Lewis could improve on this is to send customer details of when phone will be delivered instead of just leaving it anytime within seven days although to their credit the phone was delivered the next day but there was a problem on my end but they soon resolved the issue and delivered the phone the following day. However, it would have been helpful to receive an email giving indication of which day the phone would be delivered even though on this occasion the phone was delivered to me directly from Motorola as John Lewis did not have supplies in the shop. This is a small matter because generally they provide good customer service and I love my new phone.
After my erlier review, in which I said I hadn't really found a serious use for the stylus, I should add that it is (a) very useful not only for the Notes app but also for spreadsheets, where a finger can be too clumsy for small cells; and (b) great if you make use of the amazing hand-writing facility instead of keyboard - at time of first review I hadn't spotted this. These extra features simply confirm my first impression - excellent.
I've been asked to review my phone. I've only had it 2 weeks. Its an ok phone. I've always had a Motorola phone. It comes with a stylus which is good for me as I like editing stuff. The macro lens is awesome. I love taking photos of flowers and bugs close up getting lots of detail. I'm still working my way around the phone and trying to get use to the swipe commands. Sweeping your finger across takes you to the previous page so if your trying to enlarge the screen or read something you kinda have to be careful not to do the finger sweep or you'll undo what you just did if you are editing stuff. I'm now trying to find how to change a setting in game play. When you go into the game play bit it automatically blocks interruptions like calls and messages. Anyway, its only been 2 weeks since I got my new phone so can't give a full and proper review as its still all new. But saying that I do like the phone. I'm not really a techno freak. Just a middle aged mum with 3 grumpy teens. They all have had a go on the phone and said they liked it so I guess that's pretty cool. If the price came down a bit more I'm sure they'd buy the phone themselves but they are rubbish at saving up. :-D
