Best motorcycle oil on the market hands down! I would recommend this oil to anyone looking for a cooler running, smoother shifting motorcycle. I also use this in a fully restored 79 Honda CB750 that would always run too hot in traffic. Once I started running this oil the bike does not run hot and I seriously feel it freed up a few horsepower due to less friction (no exaggeration) literally feels like a different engine was bolted in the thing.

A must for my 21 MT09

It's red.. ??Vampires beware. This is oil not blood. I must say, this oil is absolutely the smoothest and slickest performance oil I've ever experienced, and the smell? smells like strawberry banana smoothie!!!

Best motorcycle oil.

I've used many brands of motorcycle oil over the years and I reakon Motul is by far the best. I use it in my Triumph Thruxton 900 and in my Harley Davidson 114 Breakout. I would say though, the Mobil 1 V Twin 20W-50 and the Mobil 1 4T 10W40 comes in at second place.

Exceeded my expectations
7 August 2016

I switched to Motul 7100 after changing first from mineral to semi-synth (also by Motul) then to full synth, as in the 7100 oil.I immediately noticed much smoother operation, quieter, and easier shifts. I monitored my fuel economy, and it has improved +/- 15% after careful checking. Even greater performance when I get out to open roads, away from the city starts and stops.I would highly recommend this product, both for the improvements in performance, and the reduced engine wear that is sure to accompany.I'm riding a Honda VT750, 2003 with no mods - if you want to compare to your own experience.Mike

It?s Red, and It Smells Great
18 September 2022

Swapped to this after using non-synthetic for my first couple of oil changes on a new bike. The difference was immediately noticeable. Fully recommended 7100 before switching to 300V. Most will say this is better for "normal" street use. Can't go wrong with either. One is red, one is green, both smell fantastic.

Long lasting and smooth shifting
26 June 2024

This is Motul's full synthetic oil and is red in colour. After changing from conventional oil, I noticed the transmission was shifting smoother. Because it's motorcycle specific JASO MA2 oil, there is no clutch slippage (not that I had an issue with the old oil but be careful not to use cheaper car oil as the additives will damage your clutch as a friend did). I now run this oil in all my bikes.

Smooth shifting
20 March 2022

My Suzuki SFV650 used to do the weird thing where it doesn't shift from neutral into first unless you roll it forward and stomp the shifter. Just put this oil in and it goes right into first every time. Now I can let my clutch fingers rest at long red lights without worrying about holding up traffic trying to get in gear once the light changes. Highly recommended

Would recommend
18 February 2024

Had last few oil changes done at the dealer on my 2018 Ducati Multistrada Pikes Peak. Did this last oil change at home with this Motul 7100 and it was very impressive how it smoothed things out. Clutch engagement is smoother, gear changes smoother and more solid and motor just seems to like it better!

After my Dealer recommended first two oil changes with mineral oil it was time to move to synthetics.I researched a lot and Motul seems to be one of the best so I gave it a try.It will probably turn out fine over time but one thing I can say and I was hesitant to believe at first,Comments about smoother gear shifting are definitely true. My Yamaha always changed gears fine but now they are noticeably smoother and that is a sweet thing.
