Learning how to use it is a challenge. The camera cable that came with it has a phono jack which is incompatible with my iPhone. So I had to get an adapter. The manual is printed in fly-speck font and very hard to read. When the battery drops to around 40% it doesn't hold up the iPhone and it keeps dropping down. The buttons on the grip have a hair trigger and also hard to read.I hunted around for YouTube videos and finally found a couple that show how to use it effectively.Bottom Line: It is a great tool for the price and certainly worth getting. Just be prepared fro the rather steep learning curve.

It's a little tricky out of the box so make sure you keep the instructions handy. My biggest gripe is the clamps that hold your phone are really tight and it makes putting my phone in the cradle a little difficult.Supports the weight of my Samsung s10+ but I have to balance it just right or the motor will auto shut off. Guess it's so the motors don't overheat.Worth the price otherwise. The USB c charger cable is also extremely short. They say to use only that cable too.

I'm an amateur Youtuber (HR-Vex), so I wanted to make better and smoother videos. I also record many family videos. My first gimbal, the Moza Mini S does the job on making my videos smoother! And it's always a plus that it's foldable, so I can carry it in my backpack easily. Lastly, for only $80, it's the best deal you can get on a portable smartphone gimbal. I highly recommend it!

I got this on a whim to see if it was any good, as the price was way cheaper than others I had seen. It was a little bit finicky to setup and the app is pretty cruddy, but the actual performance of the device is stellar. Would definitely recommend for general use if you want to stabilize your iPhone video.
I bought this gimbal to make a short movie using my iPhone 6s for my presentation last month. I was amazed with the feature and the stability of the picture produced. I'll never regret my decision to get this great Mini-S. If you are using your smartphone to film your moments, it's a good choice.
I purchased this gimbal today because it had the payload capacity to handle an iPhone 8+ and it was one of the least expensive gimbals available. Well, you get what you pay for. There are just too many problems with it. First, it has an unusual design which makes it possible to center the phone (even a large phone like the iPhone 8+) in the phone holder. This is probably why it is able to handle a higher payload than many other gimbals. Unfortunately, that means that the right-most end of the phone in landscape mode (the end with the lightning port) extends past the right-most motor -- with the result that when you use the tilt function, the end of the phone runs into that motor when it rotates around the tilting axis, stopping the tilting motion. With a smaller phone, that might not happen, but with a smaller phone, one might not a gimbal that can handle the higher payload. The result is that your movement while recording with this gimbal are quite limited.Second, the gimbal calibration routine is very tricky, and the instructions on the Gudsen Moza website are quite poor. Yet calibration turned out to be an absolute necessity because pre-calibration, the gimbal couldn't be centered, couldn't maintain a level horizon, and would just rotate slowly to the left when it should have been motionless,Third, sometimes the gimbal just stops responding to its controls and has to be rebooted in order to get it to work properly again. In one instance, the gimbal stopped working altogether while I was shooting a video clip and went into sleep mode, with all the motors disabled. Obviously that ruined the video clip. In another instance, the gimbal stopped responding to the trigger control on the front (which puts it into all-follow mode) and had to be rebooted to get it to recognize the use of the trigger. (And remember, this is all within a couple of hours of unboxing it.)Finally, the video footage just isn't consistently smooth. It's too bad that it is so unreliable because the price is great, the size is appealing, and it is foldable, which makes it a lot easier to transport than most other products of this type. But none of that matters if it doesn't reliably perform its most basic function, which is producing stable footage. Perhaps a firmware update can improve its performance. Or perhaps not. I'm not going to wait to find out, but rather will return it to B&H during their return period.
Changed my review on this when I went to use it for the 5th time. One of the gimbal motors or belts are slipping now. All it does is vibrate now and just shuts down ? Should have kept my money and bought a better quality gimbal !
I purchased this for my iPhone 7, and it worked great on the hardware side to keep my videos stable. But its software was super clunky, and I had to resort solely to the touchscreen access of my iPhone's baked-in video/photo app.It half-way worked!
I really enjoy using this gimbal. Definitely a good value for the money. Good quality. I do see a learning curve but it's more just getting used to the gimbal. The bluetooth sync is great and it's easy to use. I'm looking forward to making great videos!
the gimbal works and connects perfectly to my Moto G5. it's smooth and compact which is the reason I decided to go with it. Zenka D suggested it and she is usually spot on. now hurry up and declare me the winner of the other gimbal... JK
