Tall elegant spikes create maximum impact at the back of borders year after year. From pure white to violet.Magnificent cut flowers! Sow indoors for surest results, February-May, 0.5cm (¼") deep, in a tray of compost. Water well and place on a warm kitchen windowsill. A temperature of 15-20°C (60-68°F) is ideal. Keep moist. Seedlings usually appear in 21-42 days. Transplant individually, when large enough to handle, to 7.5cm (3") pots (always hold by a leaf, never by the stem). Gradually accustom young plants to outside conditions, before planting out into well-drained soil, June-October, 45cm (18") apart. Or, sow outdoors in a seed bed, May-July, 0.5cm (¼") deep, into finely-prepared, well-drained soil, which has already been watered. Keep moist and weed free. Thin seedlings to 5cm (2") apart, before planting out to flowering position in autumn. Flowers: June-August.

(I can't quite see how reviewing packets of seeds is of real use to potential buyers) but... "The packets were attractive and seemed to hold lots of seeds when shaken"...more info when I've planted them .....

This is the year of the Canadian Garden so I was delighted to find Fothergills Canada Day sweet peas from England! I can’t wait to see them in bloom.

I've had really little success despite buying 10+ of these packets and experimenting with different soil conditions, locations to seed, etc. The Gallairdia and poppy seeds have been the most disappointing because there were so few of them in a pack. If you still wish to try them, I recommend shaking or feeling the packets - buy the ones with large sized seeds (which, by their nature, have built-in nutrients) or plentiful seeds. If you can't hear the seeds rattling around, then it means there are so few of them that you'll statistically have a poor chance of seeding successfully. Might have better luck with pregrown plants rather than seeds.

Good quality flowers, short lineups at the checking out line.
Cheap to purchase and exactly as labeled. Planted these seeds in a little flower pot and whattaya know, flowers grew!
Hard to review at this time. They are summer flowers.
Beautiful flowers. Simple use. Easy for beginners.
Bought these instead of the one plant we needed, and was it ever worth it! Fabulous germination rate
Seemed to be plenty of seeds in the packet for a very good price
I was glad to find the lobelia but only had the one type out of five popular ones. I don't know if it is your suppliers that are not providing the selection anymore. With the growing interest in gardening it is sad to see less variety for the newcomers to access.
