It’s been 2 weeks and nothing has sprouted. Hopefully a few will sprout in the next week or two. Followed the instructions which was easy to follow. I think I was better off buying one that is already established.

I came on the website to see if the box (as I have tossed it) specified if these are red or green maple seeds, as my little trees look green so far. I noticed the reviewer below said not one seed germinated so I thought I would share. Mine definitely did germinate, however I tweaked the stratification process slightly. I soaked some paper towel and put the seeds inside the towel, in an air tight container and left this in the fridge for about 3 months. After this time, the seeds started sprouting in the fridge so I figured they were ready for planting. I think this kit is a bit of fun, but giving it 4 stars because I think my trees might be green not red.

I have not planted any seeds yet as they are in the fridge, as per instructions. I have also purchased Mr Fothergill's Jacaranda and Pine starter kits. I have had succes with these two kits and hoping I will with the Maple.

Followed all the instruction religiously, refrigerated the seeds for the required time, planted out into a mini greenhouse and monitored along with other varieties of seeds. Supermarket pears, apples, chillis and even citrus. All successful except the Maples. Not one of the dozen or so seeds sprouted. Definitely won't purchase again. Would give 0 Stars rating if I could.
100% growth guarantee - but we had no results from buying two kits. Neither sprouted. Unfortunately we threw away the receipts
Almost all my seeds sprouted. Unfortunately I left some in my greenhouse too long and they ended up getting eaten by some bugs. I have two left and they are growing so fast. Mine are about 2 or 3 months old. I didn’t follow the instructions I strongly recommend not using the soil they come with and instead get some good quality seed raising mix.
They did not have stock. Order was unable to be fulfilled. I bought in store the other trees, so far no growth at all (4x pots per pack). I bought into the hype and left with nothing useful.
I received this and another jacaranda bonsai kit for Xmas. I followed both instructions and none have sprouted. I guess the longer the kits sit in Bunnings the less success U get. Bought seeds from an online supplier followed same instructions and both sprouted. Either U are successful or not. And the seeds were cheaper with 100% success rate.

I've bought two packets of these seedlings now. Each contains approx 10 seeds. I followed all of the germination tips re putting the seeds in the fridge, etc but zero of the 20 seeds have sprouted. Perhaps QLD weather is the culprit but I got I got 10 out of 12 Pine Bansai seeds take off from that kit.
