What can I say? I love my little egg timer! It works perfectly every 'time', lol. Looks great on my stove because it fits in with the theme of my country kitchen. I keep many chickens so I do use it a lot to cook my eggs. The timer come in many styles, one for everyone's taste. I do recommend the Doodle Doo to anyone who is looking for a very nice timer. Bought this because it looked cute and I needed to replace my electronic model which had failed and thought I'd try a clockwork model instead. However I have been disappointed by its performance. It stops after about 45 minutes (it should run for 60 minutes). I shall be returning mine with some sadness.
I haven't been very pleased with this item. It looks nice and cheery but the timer only counts down as far as no5 .This has to be taken in to account when setting time.A poor product and not particularly cheap.
I am a collector of all things chicken so had to have this as soon as I saw it! Have bought several as gifts also for other chicken loving friends. It is handy because you can carry it with you to another room to remind you your time is almost up. It may not be as accurate as some digital timers or even the stove one....but it is a reminder to pay attention and go back to the kitchen to check on how things are coming along in the oven.. It’s also handy for taking a nap!
