What should have taken 1 minute to interchange the low profile bracket took 15 minutes, a pair of pliers, and left the card without any DVI screw nuts. Unbelievable! In order to remove the full-height bracket, there is a screw and two screw nuts. The bracket cannot be removed without removing all 3; however, the screw nuts, which are used for the DVI connector appear to be soldered in because they do not twist off by hand and break off using pliers. The product is broken before even installing it in a machine. I would not recommend this product to anyone that requires a low-profile bracket.

Its listed as the best low profile option for small form factor (sff) systems & it is . Best thing we found was it does run perfectly on the standard 240 psu (power supply unit) found in many sff systems. We are running Borderlands 2 at max settings at it flys. Very Happy & fully recommended

"newer" systems don't even see it as an Nvidia chip video card. Shows up as generic video card and loads the standard Microsoft drivers. Nvidia driver downloaded and says no, this is not an Nvidia card. I even tried this on an MSI motherboard (MSI Geforce video card here) and got the same thing. Tried it on an old Intel Core 2 Quad system and for some odd reason, it shows up there perfectly and loads the driver. However, the Core 2 quad is way too weak of a CPU to use with this video card for gaming. I was just curious if it would work on anything at all. All systems running Windows 10. Would this work better with Windows 7 ? I can run my low profile GTX 1050 ti in any of these computers without an issue. Installed this in my HP EliteDesk Small Form Factor desktop. Fits no problem, and does not require additional power pins.Performs well given the size and power consumption. Gets up to about 77-79C while gaming, but does not thermal throttle which is good. Definitely recommend for a small form factor PC.
So far, so good! Would buy from this seller again. Arrived in good condition, ahead of time, and has an easy install for a simpleton like myself. I am no tech wizard, and this is my first time buying parts for my computer. I have an old Dell optiplex 990 and just wanted something to get my feet off the ground, so a video card was a must. Others were above my tiny budget, while this one was much cheaper in comparison. And it was on the market at the time I needed it. So there's that.
I would recommend the MSI GeForce GTX 1650 to anyone in need of a great performing half-height video card. From what I've found, this is the most powerful half height video card as of January 2021. It's easy to install and will work with the stock 250W power supplies in the small desktop and SFF PCs. I was lucky and just ordered a second of this video card for my daughters 7010. I was on a waiting list for almost a month before another was available. I'm using these cards to replace GeForce GTX 1050 cards from a different manufacture. The 1050 cards were glitchy causing the monitor to briefly black out 10+ times a day. Different monitors were tested too. After swapping to the 1650 the black out issue has not occurred once in the past month, confirming the issue was with the 1050 card. One more to replace... The current Nvidia GTX driver was already installed so the swap from the 1050 to the 1650 was just the hardware.

Best (most powerful) GPU for small form factor builds that don't allow for a standard-sized GPU. It runs like butter at medium/high setting depending on the game. NVIDIA Software is easy to use, and MSI Afterburner makes overclocking the card a breeze. I've had really great results OC'ing the card +150 on the clock and +500 on the memory, with the power turned all the way up. In my tiny case with no input fans, the card gets to around 72 deg C during heavy game play.
Pairing with a i7-4770, in an optiplex sff. I was nervous about space, and rightfully so due to there not being enough space between the pciex16 slot and the psu to fit even a low profile gpu. I purchased a thermaltake riser cable and have the graphics card outside of the case. It's working great so far! When I power down my system, I cover the card with the anti static packaging it came in to minimize dust buildup.
Tiny and powerful. This GPU is perfect for putting in old small form factor OEM office PCs. Fits the tiny case and does not require any power from the power supply. This combo makes for decent 1080p gaming. Outside of this specific use case- This card is overpriced compared to other GPUs at this price range.
