I made the mistake of not researching an HP Gaming PC I got on sale. It only had a 310W PSU and an RX 550. To make matters worse, the PSU was proprietary. So when I wanted to upgrade my GPU, that meant buying a very overpriced PSU from HP.Then came the 1650. I watched so many tech reviews and they panned this card saying the RX 570 was better. Granted, I really wanted to get that card. But the value proposition failed after looking at an upgraded HP PSU.So I went ahead and got this card and oh my goodness it is night and day. The card is silent, thermals are great, and the gaming experience blows the stock 550 out of the water. If you are stuck with a proprietary PSU that has a low wattage, get this card. If not, get a 570.

A great bargain level card for a budget build. It can keep pace with most current games in normal settings, but don't expect stellar performance compared to cards in the $500 price range. I've been using MSI cards for decades and have had great luck with them, solid performance, good drivers. It's truly amazing how easy Windows 10 makes it to install everything compared to 15 years ago. My experience with Best Buy however...not so great. No wonder why online purchasing is kicking retail's back side. I got to the store at 10 am when they opened, maybe 15 people in the store, double that in employees, I had to ask three of them to get the card out of the lock case, two had no idea what a video card was, looked at me like I had a phallus growing from my forehead. The third who was able to unlock the case, kept trying to push me into buying the higher end card like the old skit from Super Troopers "It's just a few bucks more". I finally said to the kid, if he didn't get the card I wanted, I was going to put his face into the lock case. End of story, great card, horrible service from a company I can only hope goes belly up.

On Ark Survival Evolved I get less than 60 fps on High and Ultra settings running 1080p with noticeable stutter when mousing around, and it gets worse when there's a lot of items around. Medium seems to work just fine. I'm currently on a Ryzen 3 3600G running 16 GB of 3000 MHz ram. Knocking off a single star for each of the settings it can't run well, especially for only running at its targeted resolution. Cooling-wise, it seems to be doing just fine in my box, so I can't really complain there. Noise-wise, it's inaudible with headphones on but noticeable without them, so no saving grace or additional stars lost. Overall, I feel like I could have gotten a better card for the same money, but I have no specific complaints.

Outstanding graphic card. It may not have all the bells and whistles that a RTX 3070 has or a high end AMD card, but it will do the job and won't obliterate your money either. Quite affordable and will look good with a custom build.
This product arrived in perfect condition despite the wait due to Covid-19. The GPU is a wonderful boost from what I previously had. (On-board GPU Intel). It has plenty of speed and is very cool in my case. Barely hear the fans but they do turn. It's wonderful for those who do graphics type of work and I definitely recommend this.
It was a good idea to upgrade to this graphics card for my desktop. I originally had a GTX 760 and it worked okay. However, as games started to become better, I needed an upgrade. This isn't top of the line, but it works really well for most games on High (sometimes Ultra) graphics. Typically I've bought EVGA, but the MSI brand for sure didn't disappoint me!
I had a circa 2003 NVIDIA GPU in my 12 year old Dell. I was looking for a better card for its PCI x2. Although there's a bandwidth limitation from not having x3, I expected the huge increase in #cores and memory to be a huge benefit, and it was. Games and video editing, or anything involving a GPU work MUCH better. The documentation could use an update though. It doesn't actually come with an installation disk. It took a couple of nervous reboots to finally recognize the card and update drivers correctly, but overall it was easy to install.
Currently I am not using this GPU to play games but I am running photo editing programs at high resolutions. This GPU handles it with a breeze! I'm amazed at how well it can handle 4K content. I have this setup in a PC I mainly use for editing and streaming content. It was super easy to setup and has been working flawlessly since first installed. I really enjoy the product overall: aesthetically, performance, and quality of material makes this a huge win for me.
Silent and efficient. Its fans only run during startup or gaming.Power draw from the wall tells me that I'm saving more than 30 watts over the graphics card this MSI replaces.Has a 6-pin power connector, but I'm not sure that it is needed. Suspect that some motherboards would be able to power this card directly.Drives 4k display adequately. Also purchased because of MSI's reputation for superior quality, but I cannot address quality with only 3 months of usage.
I went online to purchase an upgrade to my computer. I explained that I have an OptiPlex 790 and wanted to know what would be a good upgrade and selected two video cards that I had some interest in. my question which I have a transcript of was would this product "MSI - GeForce GTX 1650" work in my computer and would this product "MSI - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050" also work in my computer. I was told that it would take a few minutes to determine if these products would work in my computer. I waited and when the agent came back I was told "both would work" But only the 1650 was available in the store. So I went into the store talked to the person on the floor about what I need and purchased the 1650. On the box it said drivers were in the box... no drivers. Went online and downloaded. software said it would load because of the specification of the card, but when I checked it seemed that my computer met the specifications
