Upgraded my damaged 144hz monitor. Great setup and brilliant picture.

Time to buy a monitor and I was confused by the choices and features. However, I wasn't too particular except for the monitor not to have an external power adapter. Cable management is a chore and I didn't want another brick in my desk that needs hiding. So, I went looking for monitors that had in-built power adapter and require only a power cord. It was indeed a tough task. I came across so many good value monitors but had external power adapters.I am super glad that I came across this one. I picked it for $209 plus taxes from Staples. The rendering is gorgeous and I am so glad I went for a QHD. I was initially looking for FHD displays to keep the cost low. This monitor gives me great picture quality that too at the price of most FHD monitors. The curve adds a nice touch to it, gives an immersive experience. This is my first time using a curved monitor and I am enjoying it.This is my first MSI purchase and going by the experience, I am positive that there will be more in the future!

This is my 1st curved monitor, and while it's something to get used to, I utterly love it for its video quality and speeds compared to what I used in the past. It also came with a display port cord, which clings on quite nicely to the port, unlike those HDMI cords I used in the past.The monitor also comes with a 3.5 mm AUX port, and on my pc, you can set the monitor's sound settings to 16-bit 48,000 Hz to 24-bit 48,000 Hz.My monitor (the QHD version) does indeed put out 1440p, but you can set it to 16:10 (1,600x2,560) in its options menu, which you can bring up by pressing in the button behind the bottom right corner of the screen, then toggle it (you can pull it up, down, or sideways) to select "Image", then "Screen Size", to choose the ratio you like. ... MoreThis is my 1st curved monitor, and while it's something to get used to, I utterly love it for its video quality and speeds compared to what I used in the past.
